If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Alcatrazz CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Alcatrazz are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Yngwie Malsteen & Steve Vai were two of the three guitar players that were in this band at one point but, who is Danny Johnson? He must have been pretty good to replace those two.

graham bonnet still a great voice of hard rock, since 1947 in Rainbow, Alcatrazz & Impelliteri; "System X" its a cool work.

This has good music on it, I really like Alcatrazz, but this as a 'best of' is terrible. Where is 'Wire and Wood'? Or "Too young to die, too drunk to live"? Terrible collection. It's missing too many key songs to be rated highly.

Who is Danny Johnson?? He played second lead guitar with Derringer in the 70s (also featuring Vinny Appice and Kenny Aaronson). He was on Alice Cooper's "Special Forces" album in 1981. He is now the guitarist for John Kay's Steppenwolf. While he doesn't have the flash of Yngwie or Vai, Johnson is an excellent guitarist. He fit in well with Alcatrazzz, but unfortunately, the band's days were numbered by the time he came in. "Dangerous Games" has its moments, but it isn't a classic.
