The 2019 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive!

It's that time of the year again: The annual Heavy Harmonies donation drive to cover the site expenses for the year. It will run through April 30, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.

Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and keeps the lights on.

And if you happen to be fortunate enough to make 6 figures or more a year, feel free to give gobs of cash!... I'm not too proud to have a sugar daddy or seven :)

Thank you for supporting Heavy Harmonies!

A good record..but I know as does everyone else that David Lee Roth's place is with VAN HALEN..period.

From: SHREK Date: October 5, 2002 at 5:23
It always surprised me that the best song on this album was "Coconut Grove", the only one without any radio play. I agree that Roth's place was with Van Halen.

From: Ron Date: January 2, 2003 at 3:51
It sucks that David Lee Roth and Van Halen wont get back together..but so much time has passed..I think DLR and Van Halens best days are behind them..thats sad.

Nice album cover.

From: Big Papa K Date: June 28, 2004 at 16:23
Good for a laugh with the two hit songs, but nothing more than a novelty record. 5/10

From: SPOTLIGHT Date: August 9, 2004 at 0:04
Novelty record? Maybe. But, it was a cool novelty record. Dave would follow it up with the best album of his career and then it was all down the hill from there. (creeper@sunlink.net)

From: Propane Date: December 3, 2004 at 11:03
Dave done excessively, what did you expect? Great frontman when he was sober. Van Halen was only an ok band when Diamon Dave was with them.

From: Blaster Date: May 28, 2005 at 1:14
Fun little EP to listen to. Very straightahead covers of old standards. Dave is the only hard rock singer I can imagine covering a Louis Prima song, but this is an amusing sidenote in his career.

From: metalhead4life Date: January 9, 2007 at 15:36
Diamond Dave's first solo effort. Novelty - yes, but still very cool nevertheless. Only 4 songs but worth owning. 8/10 for the two "hits" alone, along with his very entertaining videos and antics.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: May 10, 2007 at 20:42
Fresh and happy debut for The Diamond!!!.As metalhead4life said, only for the 2 hits that are in the album is worth owning it!.8.5/10

From: jedilato Date: June 1, 2008 at 14:11
It was a nice debut from Dave. It's not Hard Rock but it's funny and when we listen to Diamond Dave, we expect a lot of fun, right?

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 20, 2014 at 21:33
Listening to this Ep again..."California Girls" & "Just A Gigolo" the hit singles of it...my definite rate is 70/100
