Great party rock album for the fans of The Darkness and Justin Hawkins style of singing. Cocktails, I've Met Jesus, Trojan Guitar, Gay In The 80's etc. are top notch rockers with balls and soul. Spiritual boost of this album is massive. |

Suffers from exactly the same problem as The Darkness, great music ruined by awful vocals. Hasnt the comedy of Hawkins' vocals worn out its welcome already? |

no it hasn't!!! i happen to like his voice. it's diffrent from all these cookie cutter singers that all sound the same. diffrent strokes for diffrent folks i guess!! |

wow!! this cd rocks!! if you took the sweet , queen, and the darkness put them in a blender this is what you would get a great hard rock cd. 9/10 |

This album sounds like the natural follow up to The Darkness' second album One Way Ticket To Hell And Back and in my opinion it's better than that disc although not as good as Permission To Land. There are some good songs on this and my favourites are I've Met Jesus and Trojan Guitar. This isn't as good as the Stone Gods album which is Dan Hawkins' post Darkness band but is still a very solid disc. |
