Solid, but not as strong as his solo album and the SHADOWKING project.

Good CD 82/100 That's a fine piece of MELODIC HARD ROCK with the right balance between Melodies and Rock attitude/keys & guitars/polished prod and stage feel/Huge backing vocals and smart song structure/some 80's influences but no nostalgia here Better than each solo release and a good surprise !

This is pretty good in places, with some nice tunes. General sound and production is good, without being too slick, and this will appeal more to the peoople who liked the last Bruce Turgon and Shadow King discs than the more AOR of the Philip Bardowell disc. Nothing earthshattering, no surprises lurking around the corner, but it is a solid and enjoyable disc throughout.

Solid and powerful AOR/Hard Rock album with attitude. The opener "In Your Wildest Dreams" starts the fuction and immediately puts you in a mood to listen the rest of the songs without any pre-judgement,then comes 2 more excellent songs in a row "Make Me Believe" & "Desires OF Our Hearts" and after those the tunes are in the same musical direction..."Hard To Love You" with a strong chorus and "Lights Of My World" is a catchy one...enjoyable disc throughout as Jez said...buy it.90/100

For me this stands on its on. Not solid, not good... - it's just great! Emotional, powerful music, a great voice, great instrumentation and cool melodies. Not to forget the good production. Pure magic. Recommended for every fan of AOR/Melodic Rock.

for being totally honest i add a little comment about this jewel.there is one filler track 5 "i live for you" .not at the same level than the rest witch is top class melodic rock( a mix of foreigner and shadow king.i recommand the japan import cause the bonus track is a new beautiful version of track 7 " the passage".
