| Every so often, a killer indie pops up that grabs the attention of collectors. Here is a CD destined for that distinction. LOVER'S LANE has a sound similiar to early BONFIRE. The vocal similiarities to Klaus Lessmann are uncanny and is sure to delight fans of the German melodic rockers. With 14 tracks on the disc, there's lots of melodic rock enjoyment to be had. Be careful if you see this one available. The band released a second pressing that was actually a CDR and not the original silver pressed disc!!

| For those interested in this band, they released a 6 track cassette only back in 1989. On that one, you'll hear more of an 80's sound, a bit more keys, and no Bonfire style sound.

| Man, this singer's vocals do remind of Klaus Lessmann, with maybe a little Vince Neil throw in- esp. during the verses of track #2, "Hollywood." Stylewise, I hear a bit more of a Hollywood glam vibe, maybe mixed with some southern bluesy influences, but regardless of which direction the band was aiming for, they squarely hit the mark with HUGE hooks, catchy riffs and minimal filler- not an inconsequential feat given the length of the album. I'd highly recommend this one....Jeff.
