| Britton's debut Rock Harder was released in the late 80s on cassette and vinyl but it was never issued on CD until the 1997 collector edition came out. Rock Harder includes one song written with Tommy Lee of Motley Crue titled 'Drinkin And Drivin' (No More)', that fact alone should instantly make Rock Harder a must have among 80s Hard Rock fans.

| ROCK HARDER is SUCH a killer CD!! The songs are SOOOOOO catchy and it just proves that a lot of talent (in the 80's) was overlooked and never made it mainstream. Britton should've been HUGE, his voice is something else, very talented. ROCKIN!!!!!

| I REALLY LOVED THIS CD. GOOD VOCALS, CATCHY SONGS . MY FAVORITE ONES ARE THE SECOND AND THIRD TRACKS. BUY THIS CD , IF YOU LIKE FIRST CLASS HARD ROCK.

| If I'm being honest, I'd have to say that I don't think this is a very good band, but I will also admit I don't mind this disc. 'Lee-Ann' is cool melodic rock, and 'You're the one' is awesome. This isn't bad, but it just has a very lame, simple feel to it. Get it for cheap if you like simple hard rock with some nice melodic moments.

| a great album...i totally adore this 80's party rock n roll... from the uptempo 'living on the redline' to the solid 'rock hard' and the ballad 'lee ann'...A perfect example how great american rock n roll can be... Melodic rockers stuck in the 80's should track this down..

| Bloody hell, blokes, this is simplistic beyond all belief and a little too formulaic & substandard for my tastes. By-the-book melodic hard rock (or hair-metal, if you prefer) with nary an original bone in its body and more than willing to borrow from every hard rock cliche known to civilized man. If you want to rock hard, ignore this lackluster debut and purchase the band's two follow-up releases, which not only rocked harder, but also rocked a whole lot better...

GOOD US HAIR METAL/STADIUM & SPANDEX 83/100  'let us praise the almighty god for long hair,leather,power chords,razor sharp guitar leads,and harmony vocals. | I'll have to agree with Geoff's comments. While this CD has it's moments and a few decent to good tunes, it is pretty simple and a bit lame (just listen to the chorus of 'Drinkin' and Drivin' and also take a look at some of the song titles and lyrics). Michael Britton's vocals are also on the verge of something to be desired. 70/100 and that may be a little generous but it's what I gave Ivory Tower - Heart Of The City so.........guess that's about right.

| These guys won a record contract through an Mtv battle of the bands contest, for any of you that have the original of this, you know this is not a shitty bootleg, better yet an extremely updated version, the versions of Hold On and Living On The Redline that appear on the re-issue are different then the originals, the original is mixed at a way low level, and just doesn't sound that great,this sounds clear and loud, and a great gem.

| They signed with the wrong label, but you do what you think is best at the time. Still the band played and rehearsed as much as they could for a few years and they were solid musicians where the whole band sang well. I reviewed the reissue (Rock Hard) in more detail. tomcat likes this too, just as good as many other albums from that era.

| My favourite songs, that I think are really good both musically and with excellent vocals are: Don't wanna be your fool (that can also be found on the "KNAC Pure Rock 105.5 Presents 10 Best From The West" '87 disc), Hold on (nice harmonies), Living on the red line (faster track with great drums and guitar solo), Name the time (very catchy), No more drinking & driving and the very cool She lights the fire (gotta love that catchy guitar riff!). Sometimes it's nice to listen to an artist that deserved better/not a big seller, but when the songs are still so good that they remain in your head.
