Melodic Rock? really? WTF i like the real Gothic New Wave/Rock of 80's The Sisters Of Mercy, The Mission or Echo & The Bunnymen for example not this kind of CRAP, If this kind of stuff is here then where are Cutting Crew, Charlie Sexton, Dan Hill or Goo Goo Dolls? |

I wouldn't say out of place on HH at all, considering some other newer Finnish bands like Carmen Gray, Frail, Lovex, Negative and even HIM are included here aswell. This is along the same lines as those bands, so If you are looking for another band in a similar style, then look no further. The only weak link on this one is a rather pointless version of the Bond movie theme 'Goldeneye' which is pretty poor, but the rest of the tracks (especially 'Better God' & 'You Deserve More') are excellent. |

Jez that is because Carmen Gray(i prefer by miles away to real GRAY Dorian Gray from Germany name of one of my favs novels "The Picture of Dorian Gray"), Frail, Lovex & Negative(my fav band here) are better and they play more Melodic Hard Rock not as this band(Modern Gothic Rock/HR) we need more classic bands & singers of 80's, regards from "The Immortal Warrior of God More Powerful Than a Quasar" |

I donīt like this Modern stuff but if you can debate about this one, itīs better to do it on the message board. Itīs clear that End Of You is not a Melodic Rock band. For Example, Goo Goo Dolls IS a Modern Melodic Rock indeed and they deserve to be here. I respect The Jez opinion because he say something about this album, but i like "Goldeneye" hehe.. Lovex, Frail, Negative are finnish, but there are bands(Modern Melodic (Hard)Rock)) of other countries that deserve to be here as well. Cheers. 6/10 |

I agree with juan carlos. Some people use to call this kind of music as Love Metal (because of its obvious HIM influence). I hope someday I can see in HH the albums of a really good melodic heavy/hard rock band which is X JAPAN. |

I suggest if people want certain bands from other countries on HH, aswell as more classic 80's bands/ singers (thought we had quite alot of them already here? )that they submit them - Just an idea guys!! |
