This is another great CD by King's X. They never cease to please. Check out The World Around Me, Lost in Germany and Black Flag. Another killer release by probably the most consistent band on the planet. |

Incredible, but a bit underrated release. One of my favourites by King's X. |

Maybe not as inspired as FAITH but much more efficient, a little less complex and straight up. Many catchy songs here. They were near to oversimplify the structures, but they are so unique that it seems talent always grab them by the tail even when they seem close to laziness... These guys are incredible. Doug Pinninck has one of the most expressive voice, this man is nothing fake. There are very few people I'd love to meet and Doug is one of them for sure. Convicted you get a richer human being |

when you have the chance to know such a man. |

Hi Kryiis, You're right! I had the chance to see X play at a 300 size club in Des Moines, IA in support of the "Faith..." cd. The guys came in the same door we all did then stood & shook hands, hugged, signed autographs, & BS'd right up to show time. Doug talked about all the drives he & his family took to attend the Pinnick Family Reunions in Des Moines during the Summers of his youth. I had a good chat with Jerry. They opened with "King" & the show was awesome. We thought it would never end! |

Fine release but far a killer one...tipically sound that many bands took at the beginning of the grunge era and King's X was not the exception...a "they wanna be but we aren't" you know what i'm saying ..."The World Around Me","Lost In Germany","Chariot Song","Not Just For The Dead" & "Dream In My Life" are highlights...a band with 3 talented musicians but this one is not their best album or close to it IMHO.84/100 |

another good one for KING S X back in 92 ,a unique band that combined hard heavy riffs with strong pop melodies and always deliver a perfect sound !BUT as always they had a problem to create something solid enough to stand on its own ,a song to be different from others that could push things further for those guys!anyway this was typical KING S X but i remember that ibelieved that they should put it out 1 or 2 years later ,as it was too soon after their best one and that they should stick to 'faith..'!"prisoner",'lost in germany","ooh song" and "black flag " are the highlights!good stuff as usual |
