My fave along with Out of the Silent Planet. A fantastic sophomore effort. Check out Summerland and Over MY Head. Incredible band

Another masterpiece by this trio.

If Anyone has ever heard about King's X, they would most likely be refered to this release. So I'll take the time to say that this is one of the best groups ever. All their c.d.s are fantastic.Their sound encompasses elements of The Beatles,Hendrix,Sabbath,Rush,Yes and other greats.I would go to the c.d. store to buy their new releases without listening to them first knowing full well I won't be disappointed.I recommend all the c.d.s listed here on H.H.,the newer metal blade stuff is for fans only

My favorite band of all time! You can't go wrong with any of their albums, even the MetalBlade stuff. Ty and Doug's side projects are also great. Long live the King!

From: Kryiis Karl Date: May 4, 2003 at 12:47
This band really brought something new and...interesting, that's the point. One of my favourite bands, all styles included, and I listen to almost any kind of music and I have over 900 references (which is not that much at all but when I mean "one of my favourites" I mean not pick up from 10 references). Anyone who supports that band is my friend. Side projects are for fans only because not that good at all, not bad but not THAT good.

I first had the pleasure of allowing the tones of King-X past my ears when they supported AC/DC at Wembley Arena. I can honestly say they were one of the best support acts I have ever seen. This is a superb band and well worth a listen. Excellent song writers, excellent musicians ... well just excellent.

From: rallen399 Date: February 25, 2009 at 16:10
I have to agree this is one of the most talented bands around and the side project Supershine is excellent. It has Ty and the guitar player from Trouble in it check it out.

From: rallen399 Date: February 25, 2009 at 16:22
Correction its Doug in Supershine.

From: Auslander Date: April 18, 2021 at 13:49
This is King's X masterpiece in my opinion. I don't know why they are listed as CCM on this site. Sure a few members were Christian at some stage but they were never FOR the Christian market. If you are a plumber and a Christian do you get labelled as a Christian plumber? Anyway, the album itself is gorgeous melodic hard rock with those amazing harmonies that King's X excel in. Songs like Summerland, Pleadies, and especially It's Love are incredible. King's X never got the recognition and respect they deserved. And neither did this incredible album. It is an A+ and the best in their catalogue.

From: Auslander Date: April 18, 2021 at 13:52
I meant Over My Head, not It's Love, sorry.

From: hair metal again Date: January 18, 2022 at 8:46
