| I think this guy doesn't deserve to be here. His music it not any type of hard rock but grunge influenced alternative rock.

| Grunge? Alternative? Pretty evident to me you got the wrong CD there, mate. This is an American Idol rock disc, and it sounds like one. If you like that sound, this is a good solid commercial rock disc to own. I wish there were a few more rockers like the killer opener, 'Declaration'. But 'Come back to me' is a delicious melodic gem and 'I did it for you' is another highlight. 'Breathe tonight' is also a great hard rock track which is worth sticking around for (bonus track)... but undoubtedly, the highlight of this disc is the stunning ballad, 'Permanent'. If you like Daughtry, you need to own this. Good stuff.

| I agree with Geoff. Don't unfairly label the Cook's and Daughtry's of the world just because they are products of Idol. Arguably being on Idol is one of the hardest roads to success an artist will ever experience. Think about it, they are auditioning in front of millions of people! Cook is talented and this disc is a great start!
