When I think of KISS, I think of this album!! This is one of their best!! This was probably the last album that the original members all played on before Peter left the first time!! If you love KISS, you need this album for sure!!! TIMELESS!!!!!!!! |

KISS slave girls on an album cover, what's better than that? "I stole your love, Shock Me, Love Gun" are KISS classics. KISS is a band that makes you turn up your radio and sing your nuts off. You so pumped up that you start screaming obsenities out your car window. They just F*#%ing Rock. This album is a must for any KISS and Rock N' Roll fan. |

Absolutely love this cd in that to me it just epitomizes why Kiss was such a HUGE band in the mid to late 70's. Not on par musically with "Destroyer" or "Rock-N-Roll Over" but just encompasses everything that was cool about these guys at the time. Great fun songs, great happy vibe and just a killer album cover. Probably the zenith of their popularity and it sounds like a band comfortable with who they are. Absolutely LOVE this album!!! |

IMO the last great hard rock KISS album of the 70's. The first 6 songs I love, the rest are mediocre, but hey to each his own. An awesome peice of rock history. Procure this and blast your speakers. |

great album, great cover.the title track,"i stole your love"and "shock me" are classics."almost human" and "got love for sale" are 2 of their most underrated songs.dirty ol man genes'"christine 16" is great and hilarious.only "tomorrow and tonite"and "then she kissed me" drag this down. |

Throw out that crappy remake of 'The She Kissed Me' and you have nine perfect pop metal songs. 'Shock Me' is awesome and Ace's vocal debut was a long time coming. Not the greatest voice, but 110% attitude. 'Love Gun' is one hella-powerful concert opener. 9/10. |

Maybe it's because I love KISS. Maybe it's because I love this record. Maybe it's because I haven't posted in about 3yrs., but if you saw what I posted on 'Destroyer', you know- this is it. It is why I love Rock and Roll, and why I like 'some of those hair bands, and some of those AOR bands'. This was the start of something great. Rock albums haven't been the same since. I have a hard time naming a favorite song or album... but KISS is definitely my fav band... and probably will always be. |

Good album. Its tough to follow up rock and Roll over. Love gun is great track. Considering they wrote and released 3 albums in a couple of years, this was an impressive album. Note it is very short and the last track is a cover tune/filler. |

Pretty good album from Kiss, sounding very much of its time as most '70's hard rock does. "Shock Me" is one of my favorite Kiss songs, and other highlights are "I Stole Your Love," the true underrated sleeper "Almost Human," and the classic title track. I guess "Christine Sixteen" was intended as a parody of teen bubblegum pop, and coming from Gene, can be seen either as humorous or downright creepy. "Tomorrow And Tonight" is a dumbed-down retread of "Rock 'n' Roll All Nite," and Peter Criss's "Hooligan" comes off as juvenile and laughable, not in a good way. And of course, I don't knwo anybody who actually likes their cover of "Then She Kissed Me." Skip the next few releases and check back in about five years fo rone of the band's all-time best albums. |

This is probably my favourite classic Kiss album but like all Kiss albums, it has its fair share of unnecessary filler. I Stole Your Love is listenable at least but almost instantly forgettable. Christine Sixteen sounds like it belongs in the 50s or early 60s; it has a horrid rockabilly vibe that I can't stand. Shock Me is probably my favourite track and one of my favourite Kiss tracks from their entire catalogue. Tomorrow and Tonight is forgettable but actually not that bad a song even though it also has that rockabilly vibe. Hooligan is a Criss-sung track which isn't too bad. Almost Human is simply horrendous and I always skip it. It sounds like some alternative-rock rubbish. Plaster Caster is another half-decent rocker but I can take it or leave it. The album finishes with the completely awful Then She Kissed Me which really does come from the 60s, doesn't work with Stanley's vocals and also doesn't work with the change in pronoun gender. The gems are great but the filler is awful. |

KLASSIK KISS!!!...tracks 1,2,4,6 & 8 are songs that put the band on the top of the mountain back then..."Got Love For Sale" is a cool song as well...84/100 |

My favorite KISS album. Peter Criss really shines on this album. I feel like this is the most locked in he and Gene ever were. |
