Nov. 13, 2024: 25,000th CD added to Heavy Harmonies!

The 25,000th CD has been added here at HH, and the album with that distinction is the new comeback album from Krokus lead singer Marc Storace, entitled Crossfire.

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular KISS CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from KISS are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

"Jigoku Retsuden" means "Hellish Biography".

I love KISS and wasn't opposed to the concept of them re-recording their "hits" with the current line-up (which I thought was great on the Rock The Nation Tour), unfortunately this C.D. is a huge disappointment. Instead of vibrant updated recordings, we get sterile versions that don't come close to the originals. Paul sounds tired and seems to over-enunciate every word to the extent that it's almost comical and the lyrics loose there feel. Surprisingly, Gene's song's don't sound as stale, maybe because his "I don't care, it's only Rock & Roll" attitude has been replaced by his "I don't care because I'm filthy rich" attitude? I think if they had mixed up the arrangements a little or re-recorded some lesser know songs, it might have brought some life to this CD. Maybe their upcoming CD of new material will be better? This CD offers absolutely nothing on any level.
