If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular KISS CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from KISS are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Enough with the greatest hits shit!!!!

From: koogles Date: January 3, 2002 at 8:37
Take the same deck of cards, shuffle 'em up and re-deal them as a new hand. That's been the Kiss marketing mantra for the last 10 or 12 years. Greedy hits packages just mean more money for $immons.

At one time I liked this band but now I could care less. All they want to do is put out another Greatest Hits album with a different name. If you are a new KISS fan and want a nice collection get one of the Live alubms. I wish they would do an album called SONGS NOT ON OTHER HITS ALUBMS kinda a greatest songs you've not heard. These songs are just over done and the greatest hits is overdone

I'm a huge Kiss fan. But, I've gotta wonder...did we really need this album? Can you give us something we DON'T have??? Come on, dig down deep in the vault. Why not put the Wicked Lester CD out?? Everyone's making money off that one except Kiss. I've made a few dollars from it myself there and I'll gladly burn a copy for a few more for anybody who wants one. (creeper@sunlink.net)

For this release I gotta agree with everybody here in that "What's the point??". Die-hards have this stuff and the fence-sitters have "Smashes, Thrashes.." and will have no interest in this at all. Paul & Gene argued it's for "people just getting into Kiss" but in reality who in 97' was in that category?! A money making scheme to milk the die-hards but I don't begrudge Kiss for that, I just wish there was a little more honesty and respect between band and fans over "greatest hits" releases.

I was i that category, i bought my first album in 2000. But i bought Double Platinum, which is a great collection of their 70s stuff. After that one i bought a lot more albums, but i wont waste my money on this one, I have these songs anyway. If you want to bring out an interesting compilation album, rerecord the songs (like Saxon's Heavy Metal Thunder) or put new songs on it, don't just put songs on it everybody knows anyway. Since i was born in '84 I missed the golden age of rock music (i was

I consider myself one of the biggest KISS fans in the world, but come on... I must have Detroit Rock City on 8 different KISS recordings. Do yourself a favor and purchase DOUBLE PLATINUM if you're looking for a best-of compilation.

Hello, everyone this is Gene Simmons' from KISS.You know me the greedy guy with the 40 inch tongue .I just wanted everyone to know that ever since my miserable failure of an acting career ,I have been after you're $ more than ever before.Yes,that is the reason for yet another KISS' compilation,i feel it is essential given the fact that I am waaayyy past my prime and Paul and I continue to make below mediocre records .The KISS ARMY salutes you !--- ---Metal T's response to Mr.Greed : F**k Off !!!

From: Adam Blackheart Date: August 29, 2004 at 10:00
I have different version of this compilation... Without Flaming Youth, Christine Sixteen and Two Sides Of The Coin, but with God Gave rock and roll to You, Shout it Out Loud 96', God of Thunder, Black Diamond, Love Gun, Goin' Blind, Shock Me, She ...

From: pt88 Date: January 20, 2005 at 14:37
I had pretty much bought everything under the Kiss sun. I thought it was better than most. Of coarse it's overkill what would you expect from Gene and company.

From: Big Mike Date: February 17, 2005 at 12:56
Some of these songs are so accessible they have lost all meaning. Shout it out loud was always crap though. Good to see flaming youth and 2 sides of the coin on here just to mix it up. I think I've only got those 2 once already. But I guess that was only a marketing ploy.

Another KISS compilation album made for the reunion tour, spanning only the makeup years. Nothing much to offer if you already have "Double Platinum" (except for the two "Dynasty" tracks, the live version of "Shout It Out Loud" and "God Gave Rock N Roll To You II").I think it should be titled "Greatest Kiss Of The 70s", but definitely NOT "Greatest Kiss". Beware, US, European & International versions have different tracklists.
