KISS is finally back!! After a string of boring and unsuccessful albums, KISS finally went back to their roots of great hard rock!! This one ranks up as one of the all-time BEST KISS albums!! They decided to crank up their amps and rock!! If you are into great 80's hard rock/metal, GET IT!!!!!!

From: T-BONE Date: August 11, 2001 at 17:28
A turn in the right direction for KISS. The last few albums were nothing more than throw away songs and half ass written lyrics. They finally got their shit together on this one. It's definately a 10

From: Reno Date: September 3, 2001 at 10:26
I love this cd. I found this cover on an album version with glow in the dark on it and the record is glow in the dark too and it's still sealed. Kool Shit!! I still don't know why they re released this cd with another cover with Bruce Kulick on it. He didn't even play on it. It took me forever to find an original cover. Very good cd for any Kiss fan to have. Every song kicks your ass.

From: nighttiger Date: November 28, 2001 at 22:42
You have to know Ace Frehley played about only 20% of the leads on here.Being replaced by Vinny Vincent,on tour also. This a great album with a whole new solid, harder than ever sound.

From: hard rock hank Date: January 9, 2002 at 22:16
One of their heaviest and best albums!I recommend this cd to all rock fans. Its a definite 10!

From: Curious B Date: January 31, 2002 at 13:33
This was by far Kiss' best work in a while. The drums, oh my God. They're booming on this album. A must buy for anyone who considers themselves a KISS fan.

From: Motley Date: April 9, 2002 at 1:26
Along with revenge i think this is their most powerful cd to date. it has the power to lose weight to a fat girl and the music is undescribable. Fantastic! Wish I was there to see them for real in 82 but I have to stick to the video concerts instead. A killer record!!!!

From: Tony Date: April 13, 2002 at 7:00
Just a classic album and one of the best drum sounds EVER on a metal album. I mean cripes they sound like cannon fire!! My favorite period for Kiss as they were just such underdogs and this was just as metal and dark as they ever got and just ripped your head off. Definitely one of the best 80's hard rock albums and a great start to that era in music. A "tough" sounding album that to this day stands the test of time.

From: Rafa Date: April 24, 2002 at 20:22
THE ALL TIME BEST ALBUM.

From: richierocker Date: May 18, 2002 at 12:22
In my opinion these are the loudest and hardest drums i have ever heard in my entire life, a good album they got back to the basics and kicked ass, i also think that Eric Carr was a better drummer than Peter Criss.

From: Kim Date: May 29, 2002 at 16:27
Im NOT a Kiss fan, but this is a great album. Its on my alltime top 25 I think. On this they have a thick, heavy sound. Not like other releases from them. Good stuff.;D

From: Albert"The Fox" Date: June 11, 2002 at 9:16
EL mejor disco de Kiss sin duda alguna. Eric Carr enfundo a la banda en un sonido mas duro y de acorde con los nuevos tiempos que corrian. Larga vida al Glam Rock.

From: RichieRocker Date: September 16, 2002 at 21:43
This is one of my favorite KISS albums. It kicks fuckin ass. ITS, heavy, the guitar work is awesome and the drums are sooo loud. Every song is awesome, get this as soon as possible you wont be able to put it down.

The ultimate drum-sound album. Incredable drum sound on this one - Michael J Jackson deserved a medal for the huge production (why weren`t more albums produced this way?). As Paul said 'put on this album when you want to turn your brains to jelly'! My fav Kiss! Tc

From: dokken6008 Date: December 29, 2002 at 3:18
Eric always beat the hell out of Peter Criss. Kiss was much better with HIM. R.I.P., God Of Thunder.

From: vince Date: January 17, 2003 at 15:40
the boys of kiss woke up one morning and decided they needed to put out an album with a little bit more bite to it.well, this album not only has bite to it,this album RIPS YOUR INTESTINES OUT,CHEWS 'EM UP AND MAKES SAUSAGE OUT OF 'EM!!DAMN MAN,YOU WILL CRY IN PAIN AFTER THIS ALBUM IS THRU!!A 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: iNjEcTtheVeNoM Date: January 21, 2003 at 16:31
maybe the best kiss album ever.only the raw sound of "kiss" and maybe,"rock and roll over" can come close to matching the sound this album has.i wonder, just like this album suprised(and relieved)many in the early 80s,and "revenge" did the same in the early 90s...does kiss have one last knockout punch left in them?

From: Jeff Date: March 27, 2003 at 19:59
This is Kiss' best album ever-period. The drums sound like the cannons on AC/DC's "For Those About to Rock" man! This lineup was the best of all of Kiss' career with Eric Carr on drums and Vinnie Vincent on lead guitars. Vinnie Vincent was an incredible guitarist with sheer shred power. Wheres he at now??? Eric Carr was WAY better than Peter Criss (or should I say Priss?haha). Vinnie Vincent was alot better than Ace and even Bruce(their 2nd best guitarist)Highlights? Every frickin song!

From: T-Bone Date: March 27, 2003 at 22:18
I always thought if Vinnie as average. Personally, I think Bruce had more emotion in his playing and technique than Vinnie. Vinnie was also busted for mapping his solo's at one time. Playing them at one speed and then speeding them up to match the song. That doesn't say much for him. Mark St. John is a great guitar player as well, but most people never got to really hear him except for the Animalize CD. If anyone gets the chance to listen to his band White Tiger, his guitar playing kicks ass!

From: CHIRO Date: April 9, 2003 at 19:53
THIS ONE IS KISS!!!!THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITES.....THE DRUMS BLOWS ME AWAY

From: Rycheage Date: May 25, 2003 at 21:33
Creatures of the Night contains very little filler and sounds as if Kiss had been reborn (it also includes one of the heaviest drum sounds ever captured in the studio by any rock band). The band is inspired and enthusiastic throughout, especially on such rockers as the opening title track, "Killer," "War Machine," "Saint And Sinner," and one of their great anthems, "I Love It Loud." Also included is one of Kiss' better ballads, "I Still Love You". I say get it. 9.5/10.

From: freddy de keyze Date: May 26, 2003 at 17:08
The band for children and for money. Can someone take this band serious ? Nuff said !

From: tomcat Date: May 26, 2003 at 23:12
one of the best kiss records ever..

From: John Date: October 17, 2003 at 15:26
I can picture Gene telling everyone to embrace this album, because they won't sound like this again until they record 'Revenge'. SERIOUSLY worth the price of admission for 'I Love It Loud' and 'War Machine'. They rest is solid as well. 9/10.

From: ACE Date: October 23, 2003 at 11:53
To me KISS image (long hair, platform boots, facial make-up & loud over the top stage shows) never really matched their music, untill CREATURES that is, bombastic druming and melodic songs this is KISS best ever album, and I have heard them all. By the look of the band this is what a KISS album should sond like, not heavy pop like their previous work!

From: Chris Date: October 30, 2003 at 10:16
A truly bombastic album. This one rocks very hard and features some fantastic songs. Almost a 10/10.

From: Fat Freddy Date: January 2, 2004 at 16:00
NOW we're talkin! After losing most of their fan base with the weak "Unmasked" and too-bizarre-for most "Elder," KISS came smoking back with their heaviest, most METAL album of their careers. It didn't sell well when it was first released but has become a classic over time. One of their coolest album covers too.

From: Edwin Date: January 2, 2004 at 19:04
High class kicking rock with full frontal approach. Check out the title track which sums it all up. A must have for all!

From: Apoc_DOP Date: January 2, 2004 at 19:07
This is one of my TOP 5 Kiss albums and one of my top Twenty TOP ROCK albums. The band does a 180 and goes back to Destroyer but with modern sound and sets the standard here. I only wish it was more popular and hadn't signaled Ace leaving the band. Imagine if they had all stayed together and "played nice". Lick It Up would have been so much bigger. Eric Carr and Gene come together to make "Power Drumming" and revolutionize Heavy Metal on this record. The power and intensity are awesome!!

From: holyroller Date: January 16, 2004 at 1:01
Nothing much else I can add to this except this is the greatest Kiss album. Ever. Alive? Destroyer? Great albums, yes, but most people who claim to be Kiss fans always give props to the same two or three albums. But have they ever heard this one? There's something special about this one, even people who aren't big Kiss fans can get into Creatures. I've seen it happen. And there are a lot of people who still don't believe me when I tell them that Bryan Adams co-wrote "Rock And Roll Hell" and "War

From: IGNACIO Date: May 20, 2004 at 19:45
ONE ONE THE BEST ALBUM KISS EVER MADE , I THINK THE DISSAPOINTIG RESULT AND CRITICS FOR THE ELDER MADE THEM TAKE IT TO THIS LEVEL.I LOVE ERIC CARR DRUMS ON WAR MACHINE, HE GETS TO THE LEVEL OF LEGEND DRUMMER.

From: K.K. Poland Date: August 16, 2004 at 5:37
WHAT CAN I SAY?? GREAT!! AMAZING!! 100000/10

From: Rockhead Date: September 17, 2004 at 13:00
Awesome release from Kiss. Sounding relevant and heavy upon release (1982) this album is choc full of greatest Kiss. Eric Carr's drums are massive throughout and for a change the Simmons songs sounds great.

From: jrenato-Brazil Date: October 25, 2004 at 23:02
On these tour KISS played three shows in Brazil. The Rio concert had more than 200.000 people. The greatest show of a band alone.Bigger audiences only in festivals.Creatures rocks,Eric Carr showed his power on this one.And according to Ace,he didn't play a single note in this album, only Vinnie.

From: Elton Braga Date: November 8, 2004 at 11:53
One of their best albuns, and the last good one they did! ´Cuz after this one, the followers, specially Animalize and Lick It Up were a complete shit!

From: Geoff Date: January 17, 2005 at 5:34
These guys never blew my my mind, but I guess this is a pretty cool hard rock CD.

From: Metal T Date: January 25, 2005 at 13:35
Id like to take a piss on the genious record label exec. or "Gene Simmons" or the person responsible for the cover art/photo for Creatures'.It has been released a couple times. One with Kiss featuring Ace and then someone had the lame-ass f**king idea to release it with Kulick' on the cover (of course Bruce' was not in the band then, nor did he play a single note on this record).A d*mn good album ! However, thanks mostly in part to one "Vinnie Vincent" . ----

From: KNOWITALL Date: February 20, 2005 at 17:06
To all those critics of KISS,I challenge you to drink a couple beers, take a toke or two, turn off all the lights, close your eyes, and listen to this entire album non-stop,cranked up to eleven on the volume.I promise you will walk away with a new respect for the band. The sound of this album is the sound of the human spirit as it battles in the bowels of satan!!A 10/10

From: run2u Date: March 15, 2005 at 7:28
Las canciones están también chulas, especialmente I Still Love You,Love It Out Loud,y el tema título. 8/10 run2u69@hotmail.com

From: poproxx2007 Date: December 23, 2005 at 3:26

My Favorite Kiss album. Eric Carr really shines on this one. Favorite tracks are I Love It Loud, Saint and Sinner and War Machine.

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: June 25, 2007 at 21:16
FANTASTIC HARD ROCK ALBUM!! GRAN DISCO

From: ferstyx Date: October 2, 2007 at 18:19
Grandes recuerdos. Fue el segundo casset que me compre, el primero fue el de Asia. Gracias a ellos entre al mundo del Hard rock y posteriormente al heavy. Gran trabajo de Eric y los solos de guitarra muy buenos. Creatures of the nigth, Keep Me Comin'y la balada I Still Love You mis favoritas. Gran video en su epoca el I Love It Loud

From: kai Date: July 21, 2008 at 18:44
Great comeback of KISS after their pop and symphonic rock experiences. A heavier and more hard rock/metal oriented album filled with killer tracks like "Creatures", "I Love It Loud", "War Machine" and "Killer". One of my favourite KISS releases.

From: Pablex_aor Date: August 26, 2008 at 0:35

without a boubt this was kiss' beat album since alive 2 eric carr murderd peter criss on the drums and literally pushed kiss back to smokin' hard rock it has thundering drums, machine gun giutars and great vocals from paul and gene not sure how much ace played on this one but vinnie vincent certainly announced himself as a talent paul always says this is a better album than lick it up not sure about that but this is to me one of their best love the title track, killer, keep me comin',rock and roll hell,i still love you and war machine is one of genes finest moments from start to finnish a great album

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: April 28, 2014 at 20:34
If I could keep just one Kiss studio album, it would probably be Creatures Of The Night. Huge sound for 1982, just before pop-mteta blew wide-open in '83 and '84, and undoubtedly Kiss's heaviest album through-and-through, even the lone ballad (one of the band's best). If there's a weak track, maybe it's "Keep Me Comin'," that's a relative thing. Highlights incllude the title track, the goofy but stomping sing-along "I Love It Loud," "the aformentioned ballad "I Still Love You," the overlooked "Killer," and of course, the utterly nasty "War Machine."
