If you notice that a particular Pretty Boy CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Killer disc and imo MUCH better than all the Mariah discs put together. This is the more rocking version of Mariah and they truly do excel. We all know 'Knocked down' and 'Calling Out To Me' from Mariah's debut, and they are Mariah's best songs and sound even better here. Better production, ballsier sound. Aside from those two, 'She's My Desire' and 'Steal her away' are two other HUGE highlights, but there really isn't a bad song here. Essential to any fan of hard rock.

Geoff:that´s really a big nonsense what you telling here about Pretty Boy and Mariah....cause they are different like Moon and the Sun!!!Mariah is more Casanova meets Bon Jovi and Pretty Boy is more Vice(Made for Pleasure)meets Mötley Crüe....Very meaningless comparison!!!

Do your homework! they are pretty much the same band before renamed to Mariah. Killer disc, imagine "Shoot with the needle of love" done by a big name band, by late 80's Whitesnake lets say :-)

Geoff's on crack (what's new?), neither "Knocked Down" nor "Calling Out to Me" sound better on this album. I'm pretty sure they're the exact same recordings, unless he means they sound better with the rest of the tracks from this album. Though he is correct about most of this album having better production. How does that work? Wasn't this what caught the attention of Jon Bonjovi and allowed for Mariah to be made? How did they manage to sound worse, after Pretty Boy? Anyway, this is a phenomenal collection of Melodic Hard Rock tracks. Hopefully the boys at Retrospect will pump out another pressing, so more folks can get their hands on this.

excellent collection of songs for PRETTY BOY offering some 80s commercial hard rock music and they seemed capable of writing down dozens of good songs whenever they wanted to!their sound is somewhere between BON JOVI ,DANGER DANGER and TYKETTO and i m sure that all fans will be satisfied with crackers like "calling out to me",'hail to the joker","one chance"," she s my desire" and "knocked down"!wonderful band

generally the retrospect s realise are some very average records, except last temptation.it s easy to understand why all these bands have never find a deal with a record company ,even if in the 90 s the horrible grunge wawe have killed the melodic rock.here with pretty boy it s a little better than habit.the production is good, the singer is only decent, not more.this record is an alternation of excellent songs tracks 2(killer song),4,6,9 and 12.and fillers.for example the choruse of "hail to the joker" is a nightmare.i can add that this cd is very very rare impossible to find under 100 euro (ebay and discogs).
