If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Overland CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Overland are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The last few tracks are a little average, but before that this is a MONSTER melodic rock release. I was initially put off a little by the first couple of tracks, but warmed to them when I got into the rest of the album. This one is certainly a grower, but the repeated listens truly pay off to make this one of the best albums of 2008 in my opinion. I also have to hand it to Steve Newman...I've never really been a fan of his particularly but his guitar solo on 'Heartache Calling' is pure class. Other than that, 'Like A River', 'After The Fire' and 'Evangeline' are the winners here. Highly Recommended!

It really took me many listens to grow this album on me, i didnīt dig at first. Good Melodic Modern Rock/AOR. "After The Fire" "Lost In Paradise" "Until Forever Comes"(fine Track), "Like A River" "Look Into Your Eyes" and "Heartache Calling"(Fantastic Overlandīs Voice on Chorus) are good ones in these order. Good Purchase ferstyx, youīll enjoy it more i guess.. 8/10

I enjoy it less with every listen. Itīs a good album from one of the best hardrockvocalists, but all in all it has an disturbing TOTO- groov for my taste.

Completely useless, imo. I love Steve Overland and FM's 'Tough it out', but nothing since that album (aside from 'Aphrodesiac') has really been any good at all. And this is sure as hell no exception. Just like the Shadowman disc, all we have here is a bunch of tiring, passion-free AOR filler. Completely avoidable, imo.

Totally agree with Geoff here sorry Steve but you need to FM your brother Chris & Didge Digital.

Excellent and solid album by the mighty Steve Overland (this is his first solo effort)of FM,The Ladder and Shadowman fame...the songs are basically pure AOR feeling (he seems 2 be attached 2 this genre at heart!)or perhaps Hard AOR.... the songs are well composed and you noticed the great musicianship (Bissonett's brothers involved should be somethin' serious!!!)."Breakway"(with attitude),"This Time"(great opener)."Like A River"(superb),"Look..."(nice)and the rest of the songs are fantastic 2!!!..anyway,get this album if you enjoy the good music!!!.90/100

completely in line here with Geoff. FM best album ever is easily and by far Tough it Out. They have never ever been able to reach that again. Steve has such a great voice. Just waisted again here on poor songs.Like with Shadownman its so seriously missing that real punch, lacking seriously in catchiness. Seems to me SO himself is also looking for a style that will fit him. This aint it. Pitty. The only song i kinda liked was Like a River but again there is a huge difference between good and great. Its a good song but nothing more. Total forgetable album.
