| "Wookie," you are high! Daughtry is great. They are one of the only few bands putting out straight ahead rock and roll; something direly missing in today's music.

| Yeah I'd be lying if I said there was no modern influence in this but the bottom line for me is it's got a shitload of hooks, and I like it. But I liked some Creed too, what can ya do. :-)

| Very good disc, but maybe a few too many ballads this time round? Like Doug says, this is good solid commercial rock. The single, 'No surprise' is still one of my favourite songs, along with the killer rocker 'Ghost Of Me' (man I wish there were more like this on the CD) and 'Supernatural' is also great. Good disc, not sure if I prefer this or the debut to be honest.

| I became a Chris Daughtry fan while watching American Idol (stop snickering, my wife made me...blowjobs were involved, that's all I'm sayin') and thought the debut was really good. Not convinced this sophmore effort is in quite the same league, but if it ain't, it's not missing the mark by much. This is high-quality modern hard rock, done with big production and even bigger hooks, just the way it should be. A couple of clunkers ("Tennessee Line"...what the hell was he thinking?) but overall, this is a great CD for just popping in the car stereo while you're cruising around town.
