Very Good Hard Rock/MHR! "This Could Be Paradise, When Destiny Calls, The Heavens Are Burning, Don't Take My Heart & I'm in Heaven" fav tracks, are you a fan of PC69 as me then... thanks again David! 85/100.

I did really like their 2008 debut album,a mix of metal and hard rock but this one without being bad is way too Whitesnake for my ears(which i admire in a band when they want to emulate an influence but there's only one Whitesnake already,so...).David Readman sounding just like David Coverdale a 100% as well...anyway about the tracks there are plenty of goodie ones in the shape of "No Solution Blues","King Of Your Dreams"(great solid!),"This Could Be Paradise"(great!),"Heal My Pain","The Heavens Are Burning","Don't Take My Heart","Wings Of The Fury"(great!)& "Stranger Lost In Time"(great!)...an enjoyable album but it would have been better without that too deep "snake vibe"...85/100

With this album, they took indeed a turn towards a more classic and sometimes bluesy feel. Whitesnake and Rainbow spring to mind (albeit in a more heavy version). In some tracks the guitar sound really reminds me of Ritchie Blackmore, and David Readman has a voice somewhere in between David Coverdale and Jeff Scott Soto. The more bluesy songs like King of dreams, Devil's daughter and Blind man (not the same song as Whitesnake!) appeal the most to me here.

I absolutely love Alex Beroydt and David Readman in their various projects and VC is no exception. I get that everyone thinks they sound like Whitesnake, circa. 1987, and they are right! I have no problem with that for a couple of reasons. 1.) I love 80's Whitesnake.....and 2.) Whitesnake doesn't even sound like 80's Whitesnake anymore. So, I say tremendous songs are tremendous songs. I LOVE the VC releases and this one is very good. Next is a bit better but all of them are good to great! 88 / 100
