One of the high hopes of the Brit AOR scene of the 80's, that unfortunately never made it. A real shame, as some of the tracks on here are well up with what the likes of Shy,FM,Virginia Wolf etc were releasing at the time. This disc is made up of the original 4 track vinyl only EP. from 1987, which is pretty flawless in the song department -given the big production budget of some of the above named bands, this could have been huge. The other 4 tracks featured

..come from 1988 and are all excellent aswell. A true crime that this band never got signed to a major, as they sure were pumping out some majorly good keyboard drenched AOR stuff. The production doesn't have the sheen of an FM, Strangeways or Virginia Wolf, but don't let that put you off buying this. It is only 8 tracks and only just over 30 minutes long, but it is terrific stuff that every AOR fan really should check out. Yo uwon't be disappointed I assure you.

This is a fantastic little compilation and it's truly a shame that these guys had not reached the success they deserved.Great sharp melodic catchy and quality British AOR! What else do you need? This is the way AOR delivered form the Gods...

Beautiful, classy AOR. The songs stick in your head and the melodies are fantastic. Great album, really too bad this band fell through the cracks back in the day......Jeff.

This is what i call pure AOR at its best!..british band Moritz released this album at the right time 1986..AOR was flourishing like flowers and England was at a tight fight with the American AOR stuff (FM,Dare,Shy are some good example of how big aOR was becoming in the U.K.)..shamely the band disbanded after they hit the sky with this one..basically an album out of fillers and highlighting songs such as "City Streets","Love This Time" and "Caught Up In The Action" which are wonderful indeed also a good guitar work in "Break It Up" by Mr Hart and of course a beautiful ballad also is in it "Don't walk Away" with a nice chorus..in general lines a jewell of an album 4 all you AORsters out there!..all the songs even the ones i didn't mention (more 4 space reasons really)are fantastic!.Buy immediately!.96/100...for the likes of Statetropper,Garrison and Midnight Blue...british 2 the bones!

Great AOR. I'd think it impossible for any fan of AOR to not like this. The biggest pity is that there are only 8 songs and they never "made it" to deliver more albums. Love the first few tunes, 'Break it up' is a super catchy rocker and 'Don't walk away' is just a beautiful ballad. Overall, really can't fault it.

It's a pity that there are only eight songs on this CD, but what's there is basically perfect. Honestly, I don't think there's a single bad thing I can say about the quality of the songwriting on this disc.

excellent collection of songs by MORITZ and really cant understand what happened back then and they didnt make it!this is top class UK keyboard driven hard rock music with mega hits like "cant stop loving you","city streets" and "don t walk away"!huge keys ,nice guitar solos and many many hooks all around is what you get and i believe that everybody should buy that reissue like i did from Harmony Factory records!
