GREAT #+´ß0*/good JOB MAN! I'm a songwriter from L.A...well as a matter of fact, now I'm livin' in Germany,(Dresden). Botton Line keep it up and kick everybody's ass with a next album soon.

This one is as good as any autograph cd, even better. When you hear it, you can't tell the difference. By the way, if you didn't know, Steve Plunkett was the lead singer of autograph

Bad choice of a first single ("Louie Louie") buried this album and, sadly, a lot of excellent Def Leppard-style AOR got lost in the shuffle. The chorus of "So Mysterious" sounds SO MUCH like Def Leppard's "Promises", it's SILLY. "Every Little Word" and "Think About It" are also recommended for anyone who wants to venture outside the Leppard catalog for a Def fix.

Best thing he ever did -awesome album. Much of it turned up on the Sic Vikki cd again but I can forgive when it's this good. Come back Steve, your barnet is forgiven

'Heavy Pettin' and 'when the tables turn' are my faves... Louie Louie was a bad idea

From: Ray Date: November 19, 2002 at 16:20
I agree Louie Louie sent this album to hell...All the other songs are very good.

From: BATman Date: January 28, 2003 at 3:07
Whole album is superb ! Even Louie Louie !

From: Greg Date: March 11, 2003 at 16:04
This guy is a great singer, did anyone know that he sang the intro song to the TV show "7th Heaven"...I just don't picture him singin' that song after singin' "Turn up the Radio"...

From: iaffprofireman Date: November 26, 2003 at 1:45
I just picked this one up about a year and a half ago, and I am impressed with it. There are some very good songs on it. I thought Autograph was ok, but I wasn't a huge fan. Plunkett's solo stuff is great though. More melodic and maybe even a slight bit harder than Autograph's stuff. Yeah, maybe it sounds a bit like the mid 80s Def Leppard. I guess that is a decent comparison. I think it is real good. Worht checking out!

From: gener8tr Date: February 2, 2004 at 13:47
Do you know why Steve's / Autograph's tracks are so obviously reminiscent of Def Leppard? Plunkett was a huge Leppard fan in the early 80's, and even "borrowed" the name AUTOGRAPH from Leppard video for PHOTOGRAPH. Loud and Clear was Autograph's best work, but get the entire catalog, you will not de disappointed!

Hey Dan Wilson... is this the Dan from evansville that went to Central

I would just as easily have taken a six track EP of this one. Swap 'Louie Louie' with 'When the tables turn' and then I'll take the first six tracks! 'Every litte word' is commercial bliss, 'If I had my way' sounded better by EMN, but is a great song either way and 'Think about it' is by far my fave - killer commercial hard rock. 'So mysterious' and 'Heavy pettin' are great, as well as the ballad I alreay mentioned. The rest are fillers, IMO, but a good CD because of the gems.

Fans of SIC VIKKI will love this one. Steve wrote the 1st SV CD, and this has huge anthems and a VERY solid production as well.

From: Nick C Date: April 22, 2005 at 18:10
I know I had this but can I find my CD anywhere!!! This is great commercial hard rock and a top alternative to the Lepps who I was never really a fan of! I always thought that for a guy who plays guitar Plunkett was an apt second name. PLUNK - IT ...geddit??? Aw! Now where on Earth have I put that CD!!!!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: December 25, 2006 at 18:54
Very good solo release by Mr Plunkett. This is a mixture of melodic hard rock & aor,the song "Think about it" for me is far the best of the album. What has happened to him?.He hasn't recorded any more solo albums.Anyway 8/10.

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: August 13, 2007 at 4:19
STEVE PLUNKETT it's a fantastic songwriter ! a true HIT maker ! Each song it's an hymn not a single filler ! If you need HOOKS then you LOVE this CD A true genius !87/100 BUY IT You can check SIC VIKKI "kiss me in french"which is so GREAT or the whole AUTOGRAPH disco , This guy rules !

From: Eva Galli Date: August 4, 2009 at 21:15
Nice album, the difference between Autograph and this record it's the sound and effects of the guitar, no tapping = no Lynch. By the way a happy rock album, 8/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 12, 2011 at 19:53
Well being more specific about this album i could say that apart from the mega wonderful song "Think About It" there are some extra goodie ones such as "Heavy Pettin'","Every Little Word","So Mysterious","You Make Me Bleed"(this one's a beautiful ballad ) & "When The Tables Turn"...my real rate would be 93/100

From: Locoaor Date: August 17, 2013 at 22:47
Me ha gusta mucho este disco, hard rock melodico con mucha garra, guitarras bien afiladas, por momentos me recuerda entre los leppard y los sic vikki, recomendable!

From: Dx7 Date: October 30, 2021 at 7:47
Every Little Word is the top aor song of 1991. In defiance of Cobain, Vedder and Cornell

From: edwithmj Date: April 3, 2022 at 18:50
I can't believe I ignored this one for so long. I didn't expect Steve's solo album to be as good as Autograph but it is. Louie Louie is unnecessary but the rest is monstrously good. Heavy Pettin', If I Had My Way (nice ballad), Think About It, So Mysterious and You Make Me Bleed are as decent as the best stuff coming out in the same year. I wish Steve would release more of his stuff (he must have more, he had a career as a songwriter for TV and other acts). Highly recommended.
