The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Wolfsbane CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Wolfsbane are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I've always liked Wolfsbane, but have never been blown away by a whole album by them. They've had some amazing songs over the years, but as a whole, their albums were just "OK" for me. This one though took me by total surprise as to how good it is. First of all, despite Blaze's departure into heavier material over the last decade or so, this is a true Wolfsbane album as it sounds like they picked up where they left off, rather than bringing in new influences. The songs are catchy as hell and the band sound tight. Blaze has always been a love or hate kind of vocalist for a lot of people, and for anyone in the latter camp, this album will not change your mind. But for anyone who truly loves his style, you will be more than happy with this one. Stand outs for me straight away were Blue sky and the retrospective Smoke and red light. Illusion of love is probably the closest to a song like Hey babe, so all bases are covered. |
