Loved their last album and still play it fairly often, so was really looking forward to hearing this new one. Pretty much a different band that recorded 'No Man's Land', so the sound is a little different and I will say that the songs aren't quite as good overall. Still an enjoyable album, with good songs that will get plenty of spins, but not on par with the last one. |

great italian aor.but this cd is not at my taste.not enough guitars, the solos are very average, the musicals breaks sounds shy and a little prog.nothing extraordinary.not a bad album but i will not wake up in the middle of the night for myland.nevertheless for fans i recommand the japan import with 1 bonus track who is at the same level than the rest. |

Nice effort, but could have been so much better. Modern AOR with incredible production (great guitar and drum sounds) -- however, I dislike the vocalist quite a bit; nothing to do with his accent, just not a very good voice. I enjoy a lot of the piano work throughout. The songs have some nice originality -- if not quirkiness -- here and there, not just the same old predictable AOR stuff, which is cool. I wanted to like this a lot more than the weaker elements would let me. I can't help but believe that if Michele Luppi (keeping it an all-Italian affair) had been involved as vocalist it would have been killer. As it is, it falls short. 78 / 100 |
