I was sixteen yrs. old and the term 'power ballad' had not been around yet. My girlfriend (at the time) had me rewind the tape over and over to hear 'The Stranger'. I'm glad it was a good song. I really like this whole CD.

Fastway is always one of those bands I'll forget about for a long time and then I'll pop them in the cd player and wonder why the f#@k I waited so long!! This album is worth it for 'Tell Me' & 'The Stranger' alone. I remember playing this album CONSTANTLY through college. That riff in 'Tell Me' along with the vocals on that track make it such a great driving down the highway with the windows open song. Definitely pick this thing up.

Fastway entered the living rooms of all the parties when they first hit the shelves, for good reason. Absolute crankable, axe grinding heavy metal!

I think this is their best CD (your feet will be a stompin' uncontrollably), their stuff is classic man. Their music always has a really 'live' feel to it. Dave & Eddie really were the dynamic duo, and should never have called it splits. Anyone know if Dave did anything after 'Katmandu'?

Dear Niglin, Dave King now sings for the Irish band Flogging Molly. Thanks.

This is a must for any rocknroll fan! Fast Eddie picked Dave King for Fastway because he sounds like Robert Plant, King was 18 when he joined the group. The Plant comparrison can be both good and bad, but the bottom line is this guy has an amazing voice! This record covers a wide range of styles if you really want a nice blend. The guitar work is real tasty, rhythm section has a great feel, and the record just sounds so good. And did I mention how great the songs are! BUY THIS RECORD!!

Second album more or less in the same line as their first one!...Eddie Clark(better known as 'Fast' and former Motorhead axeman) delivering good Hard Rocking numbers in here...after this release they basically turned into an AOR band!!!..also it shows the skills of Dave King(futhermore on the third and last album with Fastway,'Waiting For The Roar' which is an amazing piece of AOR..after 'Waiting..',Dave left the band)about the songs in here,'All Fired Up' opens 'fire' highly good,'Misunderstood' is a cool and solid one along with 'Station','Hurtin' Me' has some Led Zeppelin feel to it,'Tell Me' is a highlight,'The Stranger' nice,'Telephone' has some kind of blues feel and also some reminiscences of the Zeps too!,to finish with we have 'If You Could See' which i liked it very much...solid Hard Rock 4 sure!.88/100

More of that sassy, swaggering blues-rock from the first album, with nearly identical production. I've got the first two albums on one CD, and if I didn't already know, it would be impossible to tell where one album ends and the second begins. Maybe a few songs are a bit less memorable, and there's not reall the big standout track like 'Easy Livin' or 'Say What You Will,' hence my slightly lower rating. Otherwise, no complaints. 'Nonstop Love' is probably my favorite, but 'Tell Me,' 'Station,' 'Telephone' and the title track are also highlights. Good carefree drivin' music!
