AVERAGE 2ND RATE HAIR L.A. STYLE METAL For collectors only ! |
From: metalmastermusic | Date: June 28, 2008 at 16:19 |
Solid L.A. sounding music. It harkens to the 80's big time. It lacks the full sound on the production side that came about in the 90's. This album does however have some strong points with musicianship and lyrics. Once you get past teh production side it is pretty good. 74/100. |

Production varies depending on when the songs were recorded (states between 1985-89) but there are definitely some solid tracks and musicianship notably on Face First, Walk Tight and some great percussion on Wrap Your Arms Around Me, which I think is a re-make. Some very catchy hooks. Overall if you're into 80s style rock the CD won't disappoint. |

Average HardRock for me. Good Production & Sound but i just like two tracks, yep, Some very catchy hooks so my only tracks that i like are "Don't Take My Heart" and "Lover Lover" the rest is pretty average IMO. 7.5/10 |

This is 100 times better than other thousand hair metal/hard rock without soul or ideas, believe me. |

excellent release (finally) by MASQUE!this is typical 80 S LA metal -hard rock that remind me of early LONDON or SEDUCE!!!heavy-hard riffs, great lyrics ,rough vocals and good songs is what you get by a band that was present at the explosion of the Hollywood scene in the Strip!essential for lovers of that era like me! |

Decent record...nothing to kill for honestly but a bunch of just simple songs...if you are objective this album can save the day a bit but that it...the best tracks for me is the AORish "Lover Lover" plus add to that the ones "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" & "Walk Tight" and these ones "Shame","Don't Take My Heart" & "Feelin' Fine"...i think the 80/100 rate is fair enough... |
