Great AOR(Hi-Tech Pop touches) with some delicious songs/moments, "The Chosen Few" is one of them(John Warren Reminds me of Darren Wharton, Richard Marx and Steve Overland too), "Rain Down on Me". Imagine of Dare,F.M. and Richard Marx together Wow.. But there are some Songs with a Westcoast-ish feeling like the heartfelt "Another Side of You"(one of my fav.), well "Hard World" could be a filler but with this kind of voice nothing is bad. "We Danced All Night" ""Great voice/production and of course Quality Guaranteed. 9/10 |

Very Good AOR with Pop Hi-Tech and Westcoast moments in the same line of Private Motion. |

Less consistent than Private Motion but it has some good tracks too..Warren continued giving us this kind of Richard Marx and Bryan Adams feel to it..."Rain Down On Me" is great,"The Chosen Few" is along with "We Danced All Night" my fave ones on the record.."Another Side Of You" & "One Heart" are nice tracks and "Don't Give Up" is a pretty cool song...90/100 |

I sought to know John Warren's works after hearing the terrific ballad The Chosen Few. Not to mention the song quoted above (IMO the best track of this material and maybe the best among all of John Warren's compositions), would give a special emphasis on introductory Rain Down On Me as well as the track We Dance All Night, both with a nice pace and a nice and easy acceptance melody, just like the second biggest highlight of the disc, just behind The chosen Few, Another Side of You (westcoast-ish), that It's another beautiful ballad that I would say it's kind of music good to be heard taking a cold beer after midnight . In short, far from being a classic, but with it's moments. Suitable for those who likes more Lite/High-Tech side of AOR and maybe for those who likes Richard Marx's Stuff. |

Perfect mix of Tim Feehan,Richard Marx and Stan Bush with a distinctive vocals range!..very good work of perfect pop/westcoast hi-tech,produced by the great Andrew Gold! Best songs so far are:''The chosen few''-''We danced all night''and title track;rare album issued only in Japan. 88/100. |
