Not bad at all 78/100 AOR/HAIR METAL/PARTY ROCK / after EVA and the "GREAT" MYLAND , it seems that every ITALIAN band is fighting for "the king of retro spaghetti AOR crown" !this CD is good and maybe better than EVA even it's lack originaly and sounds very generic at times (it takes two/HARD LOVIN' WOMAN/ROCK CITY)But the performances are good (except some lead vocals not perfect but it reflect IMO the low budget of the CD)and the strong focus on melodies and hooks save the whole album ! Nothing stellar here but well crafted songs and good guitar solos , for the AOR/HAIR METAL nostalgic fans only ! The tilte goes to MYLAND anyway !!!!!

Great hard rock band from Italy with american '80 style, vocal alike Paul Laine. I think that the band is better than MYLAND and EVA and very recommended for hard rock fans. 90/100. andyhardrock@hotmail.com

I totally agree with Andyhardrock, they are better than Eva and Myland, they are more hard rock a la Bon jovi,Warrant and less Aor a la Journey. Their style fits better with my taste, If you like Bon jovi,Danger Danger and Lynch mob check them out.

Did think it was impossible to make commercial hard rock more than Bon Jovi's 80 era but this band IMO win this parade!BTW I am not critique here, this is one of the finest italian releases in the last years indeed.Hurry up if you want an original copy,I think the label isn't so solid ahahahah!

It's a very good AOR/Hard Rock band from Italy, congratulations, excellent guitar sound, very nice melodies, "The Only One" and "Breath Away" are excellent tunes.

Wow what a great cd. 7 out of the 11 tracks are awesome. Definitely worth getting. Italy has some awesome bands. My all time fav Italian, or any country for that matter, may be Khymera. Check out their two newest cds (wasnt impressed with their first release). Anyway, back to Hungryheart--one of my favorite 2008 releases. A must have.

One of the best releases of 2008.

Good Melodic HardRock just that, better than Eva or Myland? donīt think so, this is more MHR than AOR. Boltonīs cover "Gina" is cool but i prefer the original by far. "Breath Away" "Stealing the Night" "It Takes Two" "The Only One" and "Innocent Tears" are my fav tracks. 8/10

Ok fans of Danger Danger,Firehouse,Trixter and Bon Jovi will love this!..a lot of 80's hard rock and glam metal reminiscences are in here!..solid starter is "Rock City" then we have 3 AOR-ish tracks "Stealing The Night","Breath Away" and "It Takes Two",a wonderful cover of Bolton's The Hunger album "Gina" is also in here and highlights such as "Innocent Tears" & "Hard Lovin' Woman" are amazing ones...the low peak probably is the ballad "Hang On To Me" which is good but too long (7:21) and somehow bores a bit but apart from that,a very recommended release.90/100

Sorry folks but I can't stand the singer. He's defenitely the weak point on here. Well, it's not a bad CD, great songwriting, great sound but the vocals destroy it a little bit. You can't even drive a great car without wheels.

excellent debut by HUNGRYHEART!this is commercial hard rock with many good songs ,fine guitar work and a nice vibe all over.the only thing that needs improvement are the vocs !"stealing the night","rock city","hang on me" and "it takes two" are the highlights and i think that this is one of the best new bands around the globe

big sound ,big guitars and excellent production from this italian band,but....i m not impress by this record.the singer make many many efforts to be the perfect clone of paul laine or jon bon jovi.when i listen this album i ve the feeling that this band have no personality and their music have no aim.the cover of "gina" is great but i prefer the sunstorm version with joe lynn turner.
