|Great follow to the address the nation album. I love this one, Emergency, can't stop listening, the EP a shot at redemption is a nice slow 'bluesy' song. Tearing Down The Walls not the best slow slong ever recorded but okay I guest. Enemy in me, Mannequin Show, Point of No Return, We Will Never Die.. etc, you will love this cd AOR fan. maybe one of the best so far this year. BUT we still have to go through Brother Firetribe and Gotthard etc.. great year I think.

|First disappointment of the year and of course itīs a major one. Such a different band now. I liked Address the Nation very much but this sounds like any other swedish pop/rock band with some Britney Spears style melodylines here and there. The production is huge but that doesnīt hide the fact that the special H.E.A.T. aor feel from the previous albums is gone. It might get better after few more spins but right now iīm pretty shocked.

|I have to say, I'm in total agreement with aTomiK. This is not the same band any more. Gone are the days that gave us hair-raising AOR killers like 'Keep on Dreaming', 'Bring the Stars' and 'Living on the Run.' I suppose it's a bit unreasonable to expect any band to keep pulling it off indefinitely, but this was deeply disappointing. The slick, polished, soaring harmony vocals, and rich hooks are gone now, in deference to coarse, uninspiring 'tough guy' rock. If it doesn't sound like H.E.A.T. it isn't H.E.A.T.

|No hooks? No soaring harmonies? I think we are listening to different albums then. Yeah, this album is maybe a bit heavier in places than previously releases, but to say it lacks hooks and harmonies is a lie. Also not sure what 'tough guy' rock is. To me this is just another H.E.A.T. album, pure and simple. Hooky songs, melodic tunes, ripping guitars and just out and out great music. Hell, I dont get this 'H.E.A.T. were AOR, now they are not' bullshit. They are a hard rock band, and have always been.

|This may not be ATN part 2, but this is still a very good melodic rock album. emergency, Eye For An Eye, Point Of No Return, Inferno, Tearing Down The Walls, Enemy In Me and We Will Never Die are proof of that for sure. Highly recommended!

|This cd scored 1000n Melodicrock.com. To be honest I canīt understand why. Have to agree with some of the above posts. By far this isnīt as good as ATN. Not only that the sound turned heavier, the songs arenīt as catchy and memorable as before. Yes, CC is right, hooks and harmonies are there but they havenīt the same class as before. Sounds more like a party hard rock act. Nevertheless not a bad release but for sure not a must have like ATN is. Btw saw them live last week herer in a little club and as said before it was a VERY loud hard rock party with a very likable band.

|Anything and i mean anything that scores maximum on MR.com is always far from being a 100, and this is another one. It's a good release for sure but come on give me a break.

|I tell you what, THIS disc has a lot to like on it. I really liked ATN for songs like 'Better Off Alone' and the opener. On this disc, songs like 'Shame' and 'Point of No Return' just rip. That's the version of H.E.A.T. that I love with Erik G. The rest is really good with a couple fillers but nothing worth noting. More really good hard AOR on this disc similar to ATN. 95/100

|sorry i m a big fan of this band ,cause their three previous records were three atomic bombs of hard f m.only killer songs never a bad song never an average song.always top class scandi a o r.here it s a little different.they plays more hard.i m not against why not.the problem is ,that for the first time, we have some fillers.track 4 an instrumental wich have absoluty no interest,track 6 a weird and very average song track 9 a beautiful slow but one voice with a piano it s not for me and track 12 with her horrible (a nightmare) choruse.fortunately the other songs are really excellent.the quality is always here even if they change a little their style.i recommand the japan import cause the bonus track n°13 'shame' is a super song with an irresistible choruse who will hooked you immediatly.for make short 13 songs ;4 are some deceptions ,the others are excellent.you can buy this cd (in jap import) cause the good is superior to the bad.

|receive today from cd japan this record in tour edition.(2 cd).the first cd is excatly the same than the japan import with "shame "the super japan bonus track.the second record have five tracks :3 demos wich have absoluty no interest and two new studio tracks."she like the wind" and "under your skin".these two songs are fabulous, top class hard f m.it s incredible that they are are not present on the guenine album.mystery maybe they reserve these two atomic bombs for the japan market.

|Just been listening to this one again, and my memory of it was that it was a good album, but after ATN, it was somewhat of a let down and I never really gave it too many spins. Now a few years later, giving it another spin I suddenly realise that while it is not as good as ATN, its still a damn fine release. The songs are a lot better than I thought, and I think the reason for that is I was always comparing the songs to the songs on their predecessor album, which was unfair. As an album its full of fantastic songs, and I feel ashamed to say I kinda let this one get away. Have to say though, one of my favourite songs is Shame (a Jap bonus track), which just shows you that even a song not deemed good enough for international release, is better than many bands whole body of work. I can only say to anyone comparing it to ATN, don't do it. Judge it on its own merit.

|Can't understand the negative reviews. Indeed it's heavier, but all the brilliancy and killer choruses are there. Just listen to 'Mannequin Show', 'We Will Never Die', 'Emergency', just to mention a few. 'Laughing At Tomorrow' is a very ATN song - maybe it's was supposed to be part of that album? However, 'All The Nights' is a very boring piano-driven ballad. 90/100.

|Listened to the two bonus tracks. They are killer ones. 'She's Like The Wind is a beautiful ballad much better than the boring 'All The Nights' and 'Under Your Skin' is an ultra-catchy song, with a killer rhythm and chorus. Why weren't they included in the album? Can't decide wich is the best album yet. They are all masterpieces.
||Date: October 23, 2017 at 11:34|
|Note: 'Under Your Skin' is the B-SIDE of 'A Shot of Redemption single.
||Date: October 23, 2017 at 11:37|
|'She's Like The Wind' is cover of a Patrick's Swayze song. It's also a B-SIDE of 'A Shot of Redemption single.

|excellent release for H.E.A.T. and their best i think in terms of musicianship !their songwriting ability was obvious f rom the start but in this one i think they achieved the balance we oldschool fans seek in a new band."we all die young","a shot at redemption","mannequin show" are great songs indeed
||Date: June 19, 2019 at 7:43|
|I love it since my first listening. All hits, no fillers!
