Third album by H.E.A.T. and conserving the same catchy AOR formula in the songs...the best cuts for me are "Living On The Run" & "Better Off Alone"...another couple of goodies to me were "Breaking The Silence" & "In And Out Of Trouble" this one is a nice AOR song with sax parts included...the rest of the tracks can bring a shaft of light to your life because an album as happy as this surely will have a good effect on you...recommended...90/100

When K.Leckremo quitted for good after some hesitations,I thought that the fiery hearth was extinguished! The quick recruitment of TV hero/2009 Swedish Idol winner, E.Gronwall at the singer position, left me unsure and In doubt. Now, I can say one thing,I was unfair in 2 words:Fuckin'wrong! This CD is in the same exciting vein of1st one,The music flows easily like melted lava, this is Groovy Scandi-AOR at it‘s best:Huge-Mutt Lange's-like gangBV,Wall of keys,Great Rockin' but subtle tasty guitar tone,But most of all a very impressive and exalted vocalist…Not very far from Leckremo's hottest performances but even more consistent. Each track is a new highlight. In the same time smooth, comfortable and easy to catch but also gushing, surprising and adventurous with hooks almost anywhere along the way. It's a real hectic killera pure blazing jewel,It is an absolute overheated winner in every way and a real high point in my famous future final burning top(originally written for www.metal-temple.com)

I loved the debut and was lukewarm about disc 2. This one is simply stellar. While I won't say that the difference is only in the singer, the singing is top notch. The songs are much better as well. Very, very strong disc and may be my favorite of the year to this point. 95/100

Best album yet from this band (although their first album is growing on me by each spin so I might change my mind). Slightly heavier than previous albums.

I want to be honest, I don't dislike the first 2 cd's from these guys, but I really wasn't a big fan. UNTIL this new cd came out, and omg this cd is AWESOME! To make it easy, I'll name the songs I don't care for on this cd(only 1)DOWNTOWN and that is it. Highly recommend!

Bought this one and I think that this is their best album yet. I guest that E.G. will keep this band going. Great cd.

freedom rock was the best 2010 s record.an extraordinary scandi hard fm album.14 tracks 14 bombs.here the challenge is difficult with their new excellent singer.they wins; even if this album is not really at the same level than their previous effort.nevertheless i say friends buy buy buy their super cd.the first three tracks are 3 bombs.track 4 arrive too soon the ballad of the record.a great song but very very classic.nothing new under the sun.tracks 5.7 are greats.no probem easy and nice to listen.on track 6 we have saxo an excellent song in the style of human zzo.tracks 8 and 9 are highlights a o r!!!!track 10 "downtown" is different than the rest of the album.original and beautiful with a fantastic guitar solo.track 11 is the japan bonus track.great song with keyboards.thumbs up and congratulations for this excellent band.

Spread the word; H.E.A.T. is back to offer to us a great release! An album full of big and catchy choruses, a solid production, high-quality and extremely melodic songs, great performances and overall a sound that will put a smile in each and every single fan of pure melodic rock/AOR sound!!! http://www.heavyparadise.blogspot.gr/2012/04/heat-address-nation-2012.html

I have the first two albums, but never really got into them, Not that they were bad, just nothing hooked me with them. I honestly couldnt tell you the name of any of the songs on either of them. Then I heard that Erik was their new vocalist, and this gave me hope as I love his solo stuff. My faith in Erik was well founded as this this album is an absolute stormer. There was nothing wrong with the vocals on earlier efforts, but the songs on here are just so much stronger. Hookier lyrics, slightly heavier musically but Erik seems to have a bit more rock star swagger which helps.

CC, I agree with you. I am not a fan of the first 2 cds at all, but this one is awesome. In my top 2-3 of the year!

This band is amazing. I still like the stuff with Leckremo better, but WOW. They just keep getting better and better!

receive today this bomb in japan import, collector s edition.the first record is exactly the same than the first japan version.the lone difference is that here it s a shm cd(japan technology only for a better sound).the second cd is a 5 tracks ep.tracks 1 and 2 are live versions of "breaking the silence" and "better off alone".superb live songs.the sound is mighty, clear and in short perfect.the new singer erik gronwall is very very strong.he is a master he sing exactly the same way in studio or on a stage.track 3 and 4 are two new songs "california" and "too far on the wild side".track 3 is a super a o r song and track 4 is an atomic bomb.a real hit.it s incredible that this jewel was not on the first disc.track 5 for a beautiful end, is a beautiful acoustic version of "in and out of trouble".i m not fan of acoustic but here i love!!!!trust me and follow my advice buy closed eyes this double cd s.impossible to be disapointed.

To learn that Kenny had voice and health issues made me very sad. He was the best of the best, wonderful voice with great range and power, and feeling. Still I understand the band had to move on, and the minute I heard Erik was auditioning, I knew he was the one! The only one that could ever fill the shoes of Kenny. Well, Erik is no Kenny of course, but he's a fuxxing good vocalist in his own style. Korean and Japanese bonus tracks (Too far on the wild side and Back into your arms) could have been on all versions of this album, very very good songs - ALL of them. But they made a poor choice of second single imo. But that's ok, since the whole album is MONSTER. It's gonna be exciting to hear the 4th disc that will be out in early '14, and without Dave this time. When Europe, sadly, don't write good songs/choruses anymore, H.e.a.t has taken over, probably the best new band out of Sweden, and there are plenty good acts from this little country.

Hands down one of the best melodic rock records in recent history, this album wreaks of anything, and everything that makes melodic rock stand apart as it's own genre, tight catchy guitar riffs, over extremely brainwashing choruses, with a singer that may very well have the greatest voice in the business. get this fucker at all costs

From: titothetitan Date: October 16, 2017 at 9:36
Buy the 2 disc edition. There are 3 killer bonus tracks.

From: titothetitan Date: October 17, 2017 at 13:52
The production is even better than the 2nd album, making the songs sounds much more rich. Wether who's the best singer is a pointless debate. They are both excellent. Erik's voice fits perfectly with the band. Strangely, they put two killer bonus track in disc 2. 'Too Far On The Wild Side' is a monster of a song and should have been a hit. 'Back Into Your Arms', 'The One and Only', 'Need Her', and the killer 'Living on the Run' are my favourites.
