Funny to see this CD here. I played with these guys, before none of us could even play. This CD is actually quite good. freddie used to play in a band called Evil. THey were DAMN good.

This is one of those records you run into by accedent. it was given to me by freinds at Atlantic records with a bunch of promo stuff and i loved it. wonder were all the band got to? it is a shame great stuff just gets lost in all the pop crap we have to be blugened with that prevents interesting stuff from getting exposed. i think people would have liked this one.

Chaz. Theyre still making music. They have released 6-7 albums, now and frequently gives concerts. Jimmy the singer is inti acting, and the others are into different projects.

Avoid................

This does not belong here. U2, INXS blah blah.

From: AORster Date: April 2, 2004 at 19:08
This is Where the Fun Starts!?!? Not bloody likely! More like: This is Where the CRAP Starts.... Imo. Bought it cheap and after one listen it went straight to the "used CD exchange", never missed it since.

They had some good melodies and some good rockers, but nothing that makes you say "Yeah!". The singer reminds me of the 80's new wave bands like Simple Minds or Depeche Mode, so they lose some credibility there. Not quite AOR, even in its broadest sense. They try to be hi-tech like Eight Seconds and BLVD to name 2, but miss the mark. I don't think it's as bad as some make it out to be. You just need an open mind to enjoy this.

Wow, very accurate comments, all of the above - especially the comparisons. I'm amazed to find out they released other CDs, and are still doing so too! I actually think 'If you dare' is a nice song and there were okay moments on this CD but I tried to sell this for so long and think I still have it. It is more 80's kind of pop rather than rock or AOR or anything. Very avoidable.

Good AOR/Rock-New Wave album?, eso es lo que hacen en este album un AOR con toques New wave, es como si U2 o Wire Train hicieran AOR, pero señores olviden malos comentarios arriba estan ante un buen album, pero claro con un sonido como el que describo, pero bueno a quien no le gusta U2, bueno lo mio va desde grupos Pop como A-HA hasta bandas buenas de Thrash Metal, pero claro nada como el AOR y el Hard Rock Melodico, bueno a los que no le guste bandas con toques asi seguro no les entrara

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: August 25, 2005 at 0:12
Pero Dios Mio yo me pregunto porque hay gente tan cerrada?, acaso U2 no es una gran banda o A-HA claro es su estilo, señores todo lo bueno es bienvenido, bueno para mi que no soy cerrado y amo todo el buen Rock y Pop, hablando del album hay grandes cortes como Bad Boy, Don't Talk About It, Taking My Soul on a Walk, Eating of Love, If You Dare si no te van estilos asi o eres cerrado no lo tomes en cuenta, pero si amas todo buen Rock por diferente estilo que tenga tomalo en cuenta.

I am one of those, who are enjoying this release, because I am open minded. :-) But then I am a fan of Simple Minds and that comparison on top is spot on. Not something that you have to own, but still a nice addition to your collection, imo.

Hard Rock???...AOR???????....this is simply Rock ala The Mission UK or U2...good album with a typical "dark" feel in the songs of this kinda gothic/dark/rock genre...the album is quite a goodie but nothing breath taking, songs just acceptable ones...the highlights are "Lying On A Rock","Bad Boy","Don't Talk About It"( ),"If You Dare" & "Eating Of Love"...80/100

From: Leykis101 Date: August 11, 2015 at 5:23
I thought this was Hi-Tech more then any simple minds shit, I dug this disc, and their disc Mars Has Guitars, they are a talented band, if you dig this type of stuff or not, they certainly not what they appear on this album cover to be though, that's for sure, I was expecting a melodic or commercial rock disc, this is absolutely NOT!! but what it is, it is absolutely pure bliss for any lover of Hi-Tech AOR\Heavy Pop fan, if you are, get this cocksucker, you'll love it!!
