If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Axxis CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Axxis are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This CD is in my ears terrible, but better than Voodoo Vibes !

Not a bad album at all. Actually, I happen to love this one. All the songs have beautiful melodies and great hooks: overall the record has a bittersweet mood, combined with some intelligent lyrics. Nice production by Keith Olsen, too. Definitely a good album, reccomended.

Although there's quite a bit of guitar on here, I think I'd say this is a little more AOR than hard rock but I'm quite sure I'll be "corrected" any minute now... That being said, good stuff, great melodies, great songs. Pretty dark in feeling, lots of minor keys and such, beats the hell out of most of the stuff coming out in '95. This is my first Axxis album, please feel free to suggest others I might like better.

Hey Blue Charvel, you can't go wrong with 'Night of Passion." The lead singer's German accent is thicker than most of the 80s German metal bands but the music is top-notch 80s metal w/ power and melody throughout. If you like Bonfire at all, that album will definitely be to your liking (thought in all honesty not as good as Bonfire.) I found one on Ebay (not cheap!) but there may be more copies around nowadays not quite as steep.

Hey Blue Charvel, disregard that last post...I was thinking of Mad Max's "Night of Passion" album. Not Axxis. But anyway, now that I'm back in reality...you definitely want to check out "Kingdom of the Night." My description was for that album - thick German accent but the band has really strong melody and the songs flow very well. Not as good as Bonfire but def. recommended. (p.s. If you don't have it already, the Mad Max album is even better...)

Yes melodiker!!!..this one was better than the one that came next, the Voodoo Vibes :ekk: ...shamely the band flirted at this time with some alternative/grunge sound that actually was inevitable at the time being(1995..thanks Nirvana for killing good music!!! )...Axxis is one of my favourite germans acts and actually i've got to see them live supporting Black Sabbath(Tony Martin era)when they had just released their "Kingdom Of The Night" album...talking about this, still, acceptable album,i take these ones as "faves" i believe,"Ecstasy","C'est La Vie","On My Own"(nice),"Just A Story","All My Life" & "Hide Away"(good mid tempo)...80/100
