helloween seems to scream from between the notes, but it has its very unique touch nevertheless. it took me a few hearings to appreciate, but since, it has been one of those few cd's were no weaknesses make for a GREAT listening time!

From: M. Allen Date: November 21, 2002 at 13:32
If slick, polished melodic hard rock is the foundation on which you build your collection, then this CD needs to be sitting on your shelf. With crystal-clean guitars, great hooks, catchy choruses, and loads of harmony vocals, AXXIS takes the genre and makes it spin in a way that should please just about any AOR or melodic rock fan on the planet. Songs like "Little Look Back" and "Gimme Back the Paradise" are tunes to die for.

GREAT HARD ROCK ALBUM THAT GERMAN BANDS KNOW HOW TO DO VERY WELL. KILLER SONGS .

From: KimHP Date: December 19, 2003 at 19:18
"Little Look Back" is my favorite song on this cd.

From: espo Date: January 21, 2004 at 22:34
I totally agree with M. Allen and his exhaustive description. Personally, I am not a big fan of german hard rock (with some exceptions), but this is a delightful well-made piece of work. Airy, fresh and vivacious melodic HR with crisp (Engelke-) guitars, catchy sing-along choruses, a smooth and hedonistic (without being sugary) sound. Although it’s not an AOR album (definitely, not the typical aggressive & muscular Teutonic HR either), it should appeal to fans of Fair Warning or Frontline [90%]

From: juan carlos Date: May 6, 2007 at 18:22
"The World is Looking in Their Eyes" y "Save Me" muy Helloweenianas pero excelentes temas. Clásico y Súper-Recomendado. 9/10

Personally I don't like this album!!! It sounds alot like Lenny Wolf on vocals with Stratovarious playing the music but the songs are just boring, I want to like em but just can't. For some reason the songs sounds like they came out of the "Rocky Horror Picture show" or another beefed up rock musical, with that; as I call it "Victory rock"...like whats played on a sickly action movie or something. So for me it's a big no, no...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

Killerrrr!!!!!...i will always be happy to have seen this act live when they were just entering in the rock scene as a support act to Black Sabbath("Headless Cross" Tour)...this album is plagued with great catchy tracks("Save Me","Touch The Rainbow","Rolling Like Thunder","Ships Are Sailing" &"Little Look Back")...simply a blast!!!...one of those germans acts that you do not understand why are they underrated because quality is what they give always!!!...highly recommended stuff...95/100
