These guys don't get enough love. But that's probably because the lead singer sounds like he's just downed a tankfull of helium and then shoved his balls in a meat grinder. The Four Horsemen has to be the dumbest songs they ever wrote, but I still think it's cool. At the Crack of Dawn is a melodic metal gem buried near the end of the album and Battlefield of Life has some great hooks and lyrics. Overall one of their better performances, but not up to par with Eyes Of Darkness. 6/10 |

Shoot I hate typos. I meant not up to par with Back to the Kingdom And while I have all this space I'll add it's not as good as their new album, Time Machine! Good album nonetheless. Glad I bough it. |

Very good album...maybe not a killer one but yes...pretty enjoyable...being a fan of the band myself and with honesty...sometimes when you are a fan of a band you are blinded and never see defaults or something against them...Benhard has become like some kind of german referent when talking about german singers ..."Shadows Of The Light" & "At The Crack Of Dawn" are my faves but also songs such as "The Four Horsemen"(which is a cover of Demis Roussos),"Brandnew World"(nice),"When The Sun Goes Down"(catchy),"Larger Than Life"(rocks) & the bonus "Lost In Love"(beautiful)are recommended too...89/100 |
