If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Blackshear CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Blackshear are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Wow, this is a great melodic hard rock CD! Has a little more of a modern sound to it but the production is top notch and this Texas band it very tight. Too bad it is only 6 tracks. The title track is killer!

I forgot to mention, I've looked all over my CD and don't see a date anywhere on the CD. Anyone know what year this was released?

From: Delbert Date: January 3, 2010 at 12:45
BLACKSHEAR is a name that most collectors will not know about since this CD is so obscure. Imagine BLUE RUIN meets LOGAN with dash of SAHARA RAIN - presto! - you've got the sound of BLACKSHEAR! Ignore their strange name, when the disc is inserted and you press "play", get ready to be blown away with brilliant high quality hard rock similiar to the bands I just mentioned.

I wanted to thank Studboy and Delbert for the comments on the cd, We are in the process of recording some new material and possibly re-mastering the old cd to release it again. If there is a demand for it of course. We would like to here from you. It was released in 92'. Thanks!! Chris Blackshear

Hey Chris/blackshear92, This really is a great album, would've loved more songs. I have only a CD-R and would love to acquire an actual CD, not to mention any new material added to the original recording. Best of luck with the process and please keep us informed.......Jeff.

Thanks Jeff....we would have loved to have put more songs on the cd but at the time it was a money issue...LOL! I will keep you informed.

Certainly a good slab of HardRock with a good production. Didn't impress me at all, not a killer song but cool EP anyway. 80/100
