"Glory Night" is an ok classic ballad but this kind of song just boring to me, more of the same, if Goeli wasn“t here.. I like "Devil Zone"(įla "Sacred Heart"(DIO)) "Prisoner of Love" and "Dark Waves of the Sea". Nothing new to offer, some good Solos, but it“s a Good MM album. 8/10

Axel's newest album and of course a good one for the ears..but honestly quite repetitive...great songs such as "Too Late","Devil Zone" and "Dark Waves Of The Sea" to mention some..Gioli's voice's powerful as usual..a very good singer indeed and not to say about Axel's guitar skills, just amazing!.90/100

Is this really a 2010-release? The sound (esp. of the drums) is very awful! Bad production. Nothing special, no surprise, always the same stuff since 20 years. You get what you expect. And what you expect is not much.

Oh man, this poor horse. How many times is Mr Pell going to keep beating this poor dead bastard?! Yes, this is decent hard rock with a few cool songs like 'Devil Zone', 'Prisoner of Love', but you can find carbon copies of these songs on his other albums, which are carbon copies of this CD. I like bands/artists that stay true to their sound, but this is a bit too far. We now have about 10 albums from ARP with tracks that are completely interchangeable. If you like ARP in the past, you'll like this... unless it's just become stale for you like it has for me.

Not as good as some of his previous efforts, but a good disc all the same.

Very good album......I know it's nothing new, but most folk will know what to expect from Mr Pell & Co before they place the CD into the deck, it's classy hard rock in the Rainbow mould, once again..... It's the best work the guys have put out in the last few years, although there's nowt wrong with any of his albums.....Even if it's predictable & Melodic Hard rock by numbers, when it's played this good you cannot really fault it.

same style, that's what i love about them...

You are correct when you say you know what you are going to get from Axel. I must say that this is a much better release than Tales. Gioeli is amazing as usual. I still find it hard to understand how a disc produced in the 21st century can sound so poor. Keep on rockin' folks.

I have never heard such a poor production by a major act! After recording and mastering did the producer even listen to the final product? If he did he should seriously think about getting his hearing checked! This is pretty bad. The songs are pretty good but you have to turn up the volume waaaaaaaaaay up! in order to get a decent listen. No volume at all! 2/10

You know what you're getting when you buy an Axel Rudi Pell cd & this one is no different. Call it narrow-minded if you like but I would rather hear someone sticking to what they do best than trying to jump on a bandwagon & . Sure,a few of the songs follow a similar path to some of his previous work but they're not carbon copies & if the song is strong enough then I won't be complaining. While it's not as strong as "The Masquerade Ball", to my ears there is not a filler on the album (he doesn't write many bad songs these days) & as usual Johnny Gioeli does the business. If you're a fan then buy it.
