Dragonfly.....just 2 let u know - Jeff Scott Soto doesn't sing on this Pell opus. Johnny Gioeli expertly handles the vocals this time. "Carousel" totally rules !!!

JOHNNY GIOELI IS A GREAT VOCALIST AND HIS TALENT HERE. ALSO AXEL RUDI PELL IS KILLER WITH HIS GUITAR RIFFS. VERY NICE CD. 9/10

"Carousel" is a really amazing track...Brings my thoughts back to early Pretty Maids stuff. Very pleasing to see that good melodies like that can still occur in the 90s. But why are the songs so long???? Too much jerking off if you ask me...

If you like your music a little more challenging and don't mind those European influences and some heavy guitar, I could not recommend better. This album rocks! Hardline fans won't get a repeat of Double Eclipse, but they will get a completely solid hard rock album that should please American stadium rock fans also.

I think Axel made a good choice in getting Joey on lead vocals. This is a much more consistent album and 'Ride the rainbow' is my pick for this one. Not his best, but probably the most consistent yet...

The Gates Of The Seven Seals" Melodic...6.5/10
