Best cover album I know. Pell made real Pellsongs out of some of these classics.

Not to metion Johnny G. from HARDLINE is one of the best singers in the bizz. And his liveperformance is very wild and energetic.

Fantastic cover album, johnny is singing his ass off in this one. All the covers are amazing, but i think IN THE AIR TONIGHT is the winner. Congratulations Pell!!

Just OK covers collection CD 77/100 some covers are good , others are just average and some are very boring ! JOHNNY GIOELI is good but exceptionnal and the Guitar playing(as always) is very poor But the production is GREAT and the idea of not just playing some METAL covers is OK & fresh, so maybe you can enjoy it ! If you need real covers CD just listen to TESLA "reel to real" or the HUGE Y.J.MALMSTEEN's "inspiration"

so now the time has come for Axel to release his cover album. I was a bit sceptic to the songs he had choosen for the record but once I've put the disc into my cd-player I couldn't get enough of it! this is a wonderful cover album! probably the best one out there so far. Tracks like "Fools Game", "Beautiful Day" and "Won't Get Fooled Again" is totally mindblowing! 85/100 it's a must buy!

ever since Johnny Gioeli joined this band these guys have gone straight to my heart! Johnny sings with such power and passion you don't see in many vocalists...

Johnny and Axel do a great job of covering these and giving them their own personality.

I partially agree with YNGWIEVIKING...cool cover album, not a killer one but still very satisfying anyway...best covers for me were the ones of Riot,U2,Chris Rea,Kiss,Michael Bolton,Free & The Mission UK...Johnny Gioeli has injected a good vibe to the band undoubtebly...interesting covers effort...91/100

I'm always wary of covers albums ever since I first heard G'NR's Spaghetti Incident which is truly terrible. However, this one is about as good as a covers album can be. Pell has somehow managed to make the songs sound like his own while still keeping them recognisable as the originals. Rock The Nation is certainly my favourite so far.
