| No está nada mal este album,lo mejor del disco es la voz de Jeff Scott Soto. Las mejores canciones son sn duda "Casbah" (que para mí es un clásico del Rock) y la balada "innocent child" en la que Jeff demuestra su gran talento en canciones melodicas. ( Los arreglos de la voz de Jeff son minimos, en mi opinion, le falta mas eco en la produccion de la voz.)

| Wishing Well is a great song to cover, but it's puzzling why Pell doesn't do much more with it; his solo pales when compared to John Norum's on his version, and is absolutely dwarfed by Gary Moore's interpretation... I was really expecting more... That said, I still think Axel Rudi Pell is one hell of a guitar player, but that track is very disappointing...

| Axel is good rhythym player, but he just can't do solos.. Fortunately he is great songwriter (except most ballads) and he have always had fantastic band with him.

| 'Warrior' is a killer riff driven hard rocker and 'Cry of the gypsy' is one of ARP's best, with an outstanding guitar riff (Borrowed of Van Halen?) but killer anyway. Agree with the above, he should just not write ballads because they're all awful... but he writes a good riff driven hard rocker on occasion.

| not the best ARP cd, i agree with Geoff "cry of the gypsy" sounds a lot like van halen, ever seen the video, i laugh my ass off!!! Killer songs are Warrior, Cry Of The Gypsy and Casbah

| IT IS A GOOD ALBUM, BUT I DON'T LIKE JEFF SCOTT SOTO VOICE, IT'S TOO STRONG, ANYWAY YOU CAN'T FORGET TRACKS LIKE: TALK OF THE GUNS, OUTLAW. CRY OF THE GYPSY, AND WARRIOR.

| muy buen disco las composiciones melodicas y acusticas el poder hard rockero de cada riff sus ritmos realmente soy un verdadero aficionado y seguidor de el estilo de este hombre me gusta la mezcla que surgio de la potencia el sentimiento y la sensibilidad de axel un muy buen disco definitivamente un 8,5 .Creanme lo dice un fanatico del hard rock .Mauro S. | You have to purchase 3 Axel Rudi Pell CDs to get 1 album's worth of good material due to the fact that he sandwiches the superb tracks between slabs of shit. It's an exercise in frustration to listen to an ARP project because you know the guitar god could deliver a killer album but instead continually opts to settle for the half-and-half approach (and "half" is being generous). Jeff Scott Soto does his usual super job on lead vocal duties, but even his stellar singing can't save most of these subpar songs. The exceptions are "Talk of the Guns," "Warrior," "Cry of the Gypsy," and "Outlaw." Other than that quartet of rockers, the rest should have been tossed over the wall like Humpty Dumpty and nobody ever should have been allowed to put them back together...or put them on an album.

Not a bad album but a bit weaker than other Axel's releases IMHO (i'm talking about the previews to this one)...Jeff is awesome as usual and the master Axel delivers magic with his guitar,as usual too  ..."The Curse/Talk Of The Guns","Cry Of The Gypsy"(Hard Aor feel),"Outlaw","Wishing Well"(cover of the band Free) & "Between The Walls" are my faves...85/100

| This is one of Soto's best albums I think. Pell's riffs are superb as always too and the pair produce great tracks like Warrior, Eternal Prisoner and Casbah. Great stuff!
