a great followup to the first, but nothing could ever compare. BTW, to see a KILLER music video for 'April' (song 6) rent the 1986 slasher flick 'Killer Party' it's at the beginning in its entiredy and outstanding!!! It's SO 80's with a drive-in, zombies, and BIG HAIR!

Save Me Tonight is a power ballad par excellence. Good album overall but the cover of Ticket...is not very good.

From: Baris Date: September 6, 2002 at 0:44
Typical 80s teenage rock songs. What hell is that Madonna type cover?

From: excal Date: October 9, 2002 at 17:26
April is one of the best rock songs ever!!!

From: Sean Date: October 23, 2002 at 20:39
Best melodic metal album in the whole world...Great 80's metal... April is the strongst and hardest song on the album...Lonely Tear drops is an awesome beach party tune... Recommend this album to any 80's hard rock fans...

I think this album is a masterpeice right down to the clever Beatles cover where they intertwine 2 songs at the end. A true genre classic.

Great 2nd album also!!! Anybody has the tracklisting for the White Sister demos for the unreleased 3rd album ? whiterider39@hotmail.com

From: Big Papa K Date: June 18, 2004 at 2:55
The production is much better on this one. Starts off great with 'A Place In The Heart' and later on 'Until It Hurts'. The album is dragged down by their cover of 'Ticket To Ride' and the two Angel songs at the end. 7/10

From: Rocker76 Date: July 12, 2004 at 16:53
This album sounds like a combination of Giuffria & Shooting Star. Which translates into a classy piece of AOR!! There were only 2 songs that I could have done without: #2 (too electronic) and #5 (would have preferred an original tune). The rest are really good AOR offerings. 'Save Me Tonight' is a very good power ballad and really stands out to me as the album's highlight. Highly recommended for AOR fans. Rating 7/10.

From: Geoff Date: August 17, 2004 at 1:12
This album is nice, but as noted how can you compare it to the classic debut? This is nice and friendly AOR but I'm sure I was not alone in missing the big passionate melodic hard rock monsters the debut was full of. Pretty good CD...

Very solid follow up to the class S/T. More Aor than the debut, but as with that one, a very consistent release in the song department, only let down by 'Ticket To Ride' which doesn't exactly set the world on fire. That was it after this one, although i do have a few demo's for the 3rd unreleased album, which are great tracks - 3 which ended up on Tattoo Rodeo's excellent 'Rode Hard Put Away Wet' album.

From: Lennie Date: September 1, 2005 at 11:02
Never had the debut, but 'Save me Tonight' and 'April' were great here. Love Tattoo Rodeo as well - will have to dig that out and give it a spin! I kinda liked the Beatles cover in a quirky kind of way!

From: Heavy.AOR Date: October 31, 2006 at 9:39
BRILLIANT 10/10.Great AOR style 1st Avenue he have voice like a 'Peter Strykes' from 1st Avenue. This album like a next album 1st Avenue brilliant.

I remenber having this one on vynil as a 'white vynil limited edition'and skipped to buy it,now i regret that fact as you don't know.I lost a great piece of collector's item but at lest years later i've got it on cd.Extremely good aor release and 'dancing on midnight' is a blast of a song.A most!!!!!.

From: shoemaker Date: November 3, 2007 at 12:33
I have this as an LP with a different cover. On mine is a woman with strawy white hair. Itīs in my top ten of the worst album covers of all time.

From: JamesEagle Date: October 21, 2009 at 17:33
I can't believe this is the band that made the debut. I think this is an enormous step down from the first album. The band that made my favourite rock album ever returns with one of my least favourite. In fact only 'Troubleshooter' is at all listenable in my opinion, I will never play any of the other tracks again. Never mind, I can always turn to 'Can' Say No', 'Promises', etc...

From: Nick C Date: October 21, 2009 at 19:16
Gosh I'm surprised, IMHO Troubleshooter although reasonable can't hold a candle to A Place in the Heart, Dancin' on Midnight, the heart wrenching Save Me Tonight or April, in fact the only track I like less is the redundant Ticket to Ride. All the others have great dynamics and feel. The two White Sister releases are indespensible.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 15, 2011 at 22:48
Wow how much i love my white vinyl edition of this album (bought it in that format when it came out in 1986,it was a limited edition press)...fantastic songs..AOR with some Hi Tech flavour here and there ("Fashion By Passion")..."A Place In The Heart","April"(rocks)& "Lonely Teardrops" are top notch tracks but the best one is undoubtebly IMHO "Dancin' On Midnight"...highly recommended record!...91/100

From: hair metal again Date: February 5, 2012 at 1:27
hard rock masterpiece by WHITE SISTER!excellent balanced sound between keys and guitars, many many hooks and all the songs are in the highest level!"ticket to ride","a place in the heart","dancin on midnight" and "april" the big highlights!one of the best 86 releases!

From: 123charpenay Date: February 6, 2014 at 11:51
i confirm what i ve writing about their first effort.the singer is very very average.this record in cd version is a real raritie, very very hard to find.it s the lone advantage of this record.the cd start with a decent aor song not more.track 2 "fashion by passion" is a very poor and very tiresome high tech aor song track 3 "dancin on midnight" 6 "april" 7 "until it hurts"and 8 "troubleshooter"could be some great songs but they are destroy by a very weak singer and some very weak backing vocals.these songs sound very amateur.more the guitar solo of "april" is a nightmare.track 4 "save me tonight" start very well with a beautiful piano intro, but when arrive the choruse it s a slaughter.always the same problem a weak "singer" and some backing vocals limit ridiculous.track 5 a beattles cover have absoluty no interest.the ice on the cake, is the last track, "lonely teardrops".a very poor variety song.it s a song for children or what?

From: 123charpenay Date: February 6, 2014 at 11:55
others comments on this site and somewhere else says "masterpiece"classic"fantastic" "best realise of 1986" ect ect ect....for me this pitiful cd is a masterpiece of mediocrity!!!!!!!!!!
