No comments???..well this is a very pleasent release(their only record known up to now, i think)..the band (duet?) is like a mix of E.L.O.(yes!,the one with Jeff Lynne)and The Rembrandts(a pop rock duet)well there are passages of both bands in the sound of BTO..about the songs..."Throw It All Away" is smooth and nice then basically most of the songs are top notch tracks.."So We Collide","Letting Go","Gloria"(this one's like a hit single),"Dry Your Eyes"( highlight),"When She Turned Away"(highlight),"Scientists"(highlight)...a shame is that this act didn't go any futher in the music bussines..87/100 |

No info nor comments? well, BTO was a Duet formed in 1990, Hawk Bjorn and John Utter(both with a Scandinavian Heritage) met at college in Washington USA, then Private Music(an small New Age L.A. record label) found them and this self-tittle album was released with the help of Steve Berlin, Michael O´martian and Glen Ballad(lyrics) and well-known session men. Michael Thompson was here! Wow, but his work here was very limited but versatile as always. Very Pleasant PopAOR/PowerPop indeed, pleasAnt! that reminded me of The Outfield("Scientists"), Sahara(Sweden), Vertigo(USA) among others. The entire album is pleasant to my ears. Highly-Recommended. 8.9/10 |

By the way man..stop tracking down every single comment that either Rafo or myself write...it seems that you have this kind of "childlish pseudo -war" with Rafo or my person..being critical in a bad way is not the idea..is like if you are waiting for us to write and then you attack us again with this senseless things..write comments?..yes!..critize others?.no!...this is a peaceful site, not a "war of comments"..but if u are concerned about people's spelling skills,well,congratulations!..stop this dude!.it won't help the development of the site itself!..para ya porque ya aburres!. |
