Just heard the CD for the first time, and it rocks! Could have been huge during the right time period!

From: WidoMakr Date: January 18, 2002 at 19:06
Heard this band in 90 on a local college radio station...that day I bought the CD...like anyone here gives a rats ass....anyway this CD has some great tunes...tattoo and here comes trouble really shine...worth the investment....quote the WidoMakr....never more

From: adam Date: February 9, 2002 at 11:59
i can't believe i found this. i had BIG hair back then. big fun as well. out

From: dokken6008 Date: April 21, 2002 at 1:46
'Trouble Tribe' seems kind of average if you ask me, but some of the tunes are pretty good. There is no guitar virtuoism anywhere to found on this cd and the solos don't really impress. Still, I like some of the songs including 'Tattoo' (I guess we do agree on a lot of things, WidoMakr) and a few other tunes as well. I don't think that this cd would ever have made it big whether it had been in 1985 or 1990; there was better music out in that time period than this. Not bad, though. 7.5/10

From: WidoMakr Date: April 22, 2002 at 2:32
Dokken..sorry u didnt like the album more than u stated...got a question for u/anybody....from the soundtrack of Bill and Ted was a song by a band named Powertool..Two Heads are Better Than One....cool tune...cant seem to find anything more out about the band....Dokken...u or anyone have any info??? thanks...Quote the WidoMakr....never more

From: TYTAN3K Date: April 22, 2002 at 11:08
Widowmaker...Powertool is actually NELSON!! For some reason they recorded under a different name for that song...but I agree, good tune!

From: Desslar Date: April 22, 2002 at 11:52
A couple of decent tunes (such as the Beatles cover), but this is really generic stuff. You've heard it all before.

From: WidoMakr Date: April 23, 2002 at 6:49
Thanks Tytan3k...someone once told me the same thing but I thought they were just BSin me...guess not...cant picture them singing this song...I keep having the image of those 2 singing after the rain on MTV...weird...thanks again....quote the WidoMakr....never more

From: dokken6008 Date: April 25, 2002 at 9:27
I guess TYTAN3K confirmed what I read another person had said on some other various source. To tell you the truth, I always thought that the Power Tool song on Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was one of the WORST--I never liked that tune. And as for the Trouble Tribe, really I don't dislike it. I'm not in love with it, but it is still an okay cd. 'Boys Nite Out' & 'Red Light Zone' are two very good tracks and their cover song, 'Dear Prudence', is also executed quite well. Brinty Fox KICKS ASS.

From: jason Date: May 10, 2002 at 12:42
Oh My GOD!.......I totally forgot about these guys! If it wasn't for this site, I don't think I would have ever remembered them. I think the song was Tattoo? I don't even remember how it goes. Now that will bug the shit right out of me! If I remember right, that was about the only song on the album that I cared for.

From: dokken6008 Date: May 13, 2002 at 4:41
jason-- you can buy the 'Trouble Tribe' cd on ebay or half.com at almost any time, it seems that it is available quite often and usually for cheap. I think that there are a lot of good songs on this cd ('Here Comes Trouble' is a 10 on the cheese scale and it is the suckiest tune on the cd, in my opinon), but it took me a couple of weeks until I could truly appreciate the songs.

From: TYTAN3K Date: May 15, 2002 at 18:56
Widowmaker...funny as it may sound, check out Nelson's album 'Imaginator'...I think you'll be surprised at how heavy and DARK it is. Sorry, shoulda posted this on Nelsons page...but hell, that CD surprised the crap outta me.

From: Altay Date: May 23, 2002 at 8:54
all i can say about this cd; this is more like a 2nd album of a cool band that^ve made a great debut.ý think this job is unfinished.i can't take this cd as the only product of a band.'cold heart' is a fuckin' big hit for me.

From: Billy Boy Date: June 10, 2002 at 17:30
I buy this cd today; great musics, great songs!!!

From: koogles Date: July 19, 2002 at 16:20
The cover will make you think of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (or worse) but don't let that deter you from one hell of an under-rated gem! Big, confident production will impress any fan of Wall of Silence, Baton Rouge or Winger. Powerful... your expectations will be exceeded.

From: dokken6008 Date: August 30, 2002 at 6:51
Ignore the comparison to Winger. I know Winger, and Winger doesn't play good music.

I heard TT in 90 and they rock my world they kick ass. They are the sweetiest guys you could ever talk to. I am a woman that loves the hair bands and that was one hair band that rocked. If there is anyone out there that has the videos that they played on MTV. I am trying to get copies. My email is Kredangel@aol.com TT STILL ROCKS IN MY MIND

From: RBugsy Date: November 10, 2002 at 20:43
I've personaly met jimmy in the early 80's at a friends house. His former band really rocked. This dude really has come a long way. Trouble Tribe is awesome. I never seen their act and was wondering what ever happen to them. was Tattoo Their only album they made or is there more.Ido have the tape. And also a tape of Jimmy's older musicfrom the 80's, Oh well Kirk and I say hats off to you with your fame. Your buddies From Mass and Conn.

From: Drag-in-Bones Date: December 21, 2002 at 18:16
'Here Comes Trouble', 'Gimme Something Sweet', 'Boy's Night Out' and 'Angel With A Devil's Kiss' Fallow in the formula of Beer-and-Tits band. (..and well hay, that's what I'am all about!!!)Lyrically, 'Trouble Tribe' are downright SLEAZE!!! Anthem-oriented music, which, every now and again, teeters on the edge of bliss!!! Good ole' fist-in-the-air party rock!!!

From: WidoMakr Date: December 21, 2002 at 22:52
Drag-In-Bones...I agree...good assessment of the sound...The video for 'Here Comes Trouble' is very very good... visually ...Quote the WidoMakr....never more

trouble tribe is the best band of all time(shure i speak for my sealf)

From: Gar Date: January 15, 2003 at 21:06
'Tattoo' gets the cd off to a great start and then... well, let's just say they couldn't top that one. However, 'Dear Prudence' is one of the better Beatles covers I've heard.

From: Trick Taylor Date: January 15, 2003 at 22:17
'Here comes trouble, with a capital T! She's the only kind of girl I know who can satisfy me!' Bonus points for tits on the cover and awesome Beatles take. Deductions for being boring as hell, and the above lyric. You don't hear many rockers screaming for a trouble tribe reunion. I wonder why that might be?

From: Poison Arrow Date: January 17, 2003 at 23:21
*pissing myself laughing* Trick you have a way with words. I suggest you check out Kane Roberts 'Tears of Fire' for the ultimate lame lyrics award.

From: Rycheage Date: March 16, 2003 at 15:23
Excellent hard rock in the vein of Dokken with Extreme type vocals. 'Tattoo' and 'Red Light Zone' rock. 'Here Comes Trouble' is good too. 9.0/10.

From: lover of krel Date: May 17, 2003 at 3:32
These guys are rockin!!!!!!!!! The guitar playing is very melodic!!! Most of the bands from this period were never as tight sounding however these guys are and Eric rocks on bass. o yea he is a great guy too!!

From: Benn Date: June 27, 2003 at 0:53
Worth it if only for the cover of 'Dear Prudence'!

From: David Date: October 17, 2003 at 0:21
This band are a cross between Bulletboys & The Wild Boyz, but these guys are 10 times better than Bulletboys but not as good as The Wild Boyz. They play typical late 80's, early 90's sleaze hard rock.

From: MJ (Marla) Date: February 19, 2004 at 23:26
MAN!!! I forgot all about this CD. Had to pull it back out and listen again.....and yep....I'm still as blown away with how good it is as I was the first time I heard it. 'Here Comes Trouble' is my top fave....followed by 'Tattoo' and 'Angel With A Devil's Kiss'...and I love the drums in 'Tribal Beast' too....

From: AOR freaky Date: February 20, 2004 at 4:47
Indeed MJ (Marla), this is a very strong hardrock release ! Powerfull and solid ! And the guys were very friendly too !

From: Impaler Date: February 28, 2004 at 13:56
O.K. album, nothing special, kinda forgetable, 'Here Comes Trouble', '(Angel With A) Devil's Kiss' and 'One By One' are hi-lites. Good vocals and nice guitar hooks. Brings to mind Lillian Axe, Hurricaine, Kik Tracy, House Of Lords, Sons of Angels.

From: George Date: June 29, 2004 at 13:11
I saw them twice. Once in 1990 and again in 91. Adam fell off the stage on a good friend of mine and she never washed herself again!! True story. Good band, loved their tunes and were better live than on the CD!! Enough said!!??

From: Dean Date: June 30, 2004 at 11:16
Nowadays if you fall on somebody -they sue ya. Good thing for Adam-eh? I never gave these guys a chnace because the video completely turned me off. I remember thinking it was just horrible.

From: Hrudet Date: July 18, 2004 at 17:25
Very good hard rock with the feel of Dokken with your classic glam/something-stuck-in-my-throat vocals. They actually work here. Most just suck. 'Here Comes Trouble' has a fantastic riff but adolescent lyrics. 'Tattoo' and 'Red light Zone' are good rockers. Problem here is that there were loads of bands who were much better. Type of rock that brings back memories, but nothing earth shattering and nowhere near original.

From: Date: July 20, 2004 at 19:58
i fell off the stage? love all the comments.

From: Geoff Date: August 30, 2004 at 2:36
I personally think this is quite a fine release. 'Here comes trouble' is an awesome commercial hard rocker, 'In the end' is a killer ballad, and 'One by one' and 'Cold heart' are excellent slabs of melodic hard rock. Yeah, I really quite like this CD as elsewhere there are good songs too. Recommended.

From: Kim Date: November 5, 2004 at 22:41
Hey... do you guys read this? If so, always a fan and wanted to say hi. It's Kim from N.J... Kim and Wendi. Jimmy if your out there what's up? Oh and about the music... try it, you'll like it. Boys Nite Out and Cold Heart, GREAT! If you could flash back to live shows 14 years ago at the Cat Club and the Roxy, you'd be in the front row rockin!

From: manicmurderdoll Date: April 25, 2006 at 18:07
Mixed bag of reviews here. Gonna put my two cents in. I like this album. I cannot quit playing the song 'Tattoo'. Hard to stand out back in the day, though, when the market was saturated with hair bands, so they probably do seem a bit bland to most. Any cd that makes me want to rock out, though, gets my thumbs up. It's worth a listen, honestly.

From: Niglin Date: April 2, 2009 at 19:11
'they fucking blue, fucking hair band' - Randy and Titmouse. Before posting please read the FAQ RE: the pre-requisites for IQ exceeding shoe size before posting. 'I am not so original Never to be cynical A little unstable Clinically labeled Fucked-up all-American I am totally miserable Ever to be pigeon-holed Completely obsessive Manic depressive Fucked-up all-American'

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 29, 2011 at 20:05
Enjoyable!!!...it accomplishes what a listener expects from a record ...this band didn't break through basically because of the amounts of bands alike and also because it was the beginning of the 90's(music was turning into another direction,shamely)...my faves are "Here Comes Trouble"(great!),"In The End"(nice softy),"Boys Nite Out"(great!),"Red Light Zone"(great!) & "One By One"(probably the best cut of the album or at least it is to me)...recommended...87/100

From: the rocker Date: November 29, 2011 at 20:17
I agree with the comments from rick... except he left out Tatoo, which is my favorite from the cd.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 29, 2011 at 23:16
This is a great album the rocker...cheers mate!!!!

From: 123charpenay Date: November 30, 2011 at 13:00
ok with rick and the rocker.this record is excellent.top class hard u s.the level of this band is very hight.a must have for hard u s fans.it is weird that this band made only one cd s maybe they are victim of the stupid and ridiculous grunge fashion.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 30, 2011 at 18:40
A good good good album my friend 123charpenay!!!....
