A boring waste of time and money. Nothing you haven't heard a million times before. Maybe if they had called themselves DeNiro, I could at least give them credit for having good taste in actors.

oh boy!!!this one really rocks.not original but pretty good anyway.imagine "bon jovi-slippery when wet"with a harder guitar sound and youre pretty close to what denaro is all about.recommended

I don't know if Bon Jovi is accurate as a description for the whole CD. The first half of this disc is very different than the second half. There is some Bon Jovi early but the last half of the disc is sleaze/glam (whatever) type vocals. Not what I was hoping for when I purchased it. I didn't pay much. Thank god.

I don't like this entire CD BUT I will say that the song called "TELL ME WHY" is really good!! . . This CD is worth getting just for that one song.

Pretty boring except for, as Purrfect Kat put it, 'Tell Me Why', which is an awesome song, probably worth the price of the CD if you can get it cheap (which on eBay it usually is).

Very disappointed to see the low eBay price on this one, as am looking to put this one up for sale soon myself. You know how ever so often you find an album with absolutely no fillers whatsoever? Well this is that similarly rare item of a complete album full of fillers. Not a single decent tune to be found on here, although it does sound very good so it gets 2/10 if just for the production.

Like they said, Tell Me Why is a great song. Not awesome, but it's very good. The opening track It's Alright is the only other listenable tune here, but it's too soft for my taste. 2/10 is a good rating, I agree with Tim. To better describe it, the songs here lack passion, energy, hooks, and memorability (is that a word?) it's a forgettable, boring listen, and only with the $5 for that one song, as long as you don't pay extra shipping costs.

Wow, what unfortunate words for these guys. I also really like 'Tell me why', but I don't think the rest of the album is a complete waste of time. If nothing else, I really like the sound of the band. A good, very solid musical effort - just a shame about the lack of worthwhile songs. Not too bad, and I'd even give it at least a 5/10 overall... even if it's just for the cool drum sound.

While I don't agree with all the comments for this one, I do agree that it is pretty average. Tell Me Why is a very good tune but that is not the only one worth a spin on this album. The opener has a good chorus and while Shotgun Serenade wins no points for originalily, it is a good tune. This one is worth picking up. I is usually pretty cheap and as long as you are not expecting earth moving music, it will be enjoyable. With the music nowadays, this one deserves a chance.

TRULY HARSH reviews!?! Too many people are being WAY too critical and rip shit apart! I really think if you just listen for what it is and stop the high expectations, I do think more people would appreciate this and many other slammed groups on this site! Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I think this CD is damn GOOD! I love all the tracks! Lots of harmonies over driving guitars and drums. Some AOR influences. All the songs flow nicely. True, not 100% original, but who IS and WHO cares!

i think this cd kicks ass! for a band that came out in 92, it sounds really good! Roxy Blue, Slik Toxik, Denaro, and others all came out in 92, so hard rock was still around at that time, even if Nirvana were gettin to be big, the LAST TAIL of the Hard Rock Hurricane came in and dominated the U.S. w/ what was left of that genre.

Actually I like this, the first five songs are "OK" or I would say "good" The first track sounds like Simple Minds-Don't you (Forget about me) but hey I like it. Wasn't expecting much but hmmm it's quite good for me well the first five track any way. It's not Firehouse or Whitesnake of those kick ass bands out there but a real rocker will give this a try and maybe like it (or not)...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

I read the (mostly) negative comments about this band but decided to get the cd anyway. Wow, I am sure glad I did. I was pleasantly suprised. Its a definite 8.7/10. Forget freakin Bon Jovi...they remind me a lot of Hericane Alice and Roxy Blue. If that's your style then get this cd.

I couldn't be more surprised by all the vitreolic hatred for this CD than if Robert Deniro himself had just announced he was chopping off his nuts so he could star in a hardcore transexual orgy flick. Personally, despite the presence of a few fillers and a sort of generic "heard it all before" vibe, I found this to be a rather enjoyable album, well-done, fairly hooky melodic hard rock with some minor AOR edges.

Mark....I agree with you again on this one....to me, it's similar to SHARK ISLAND and overlooked even by melodic hard rock fans, this is great melodic hard rock. Cranking guitars, catchy hooks, great riffs, big backing vocals...all are present and accounted for. Big, slamming rockers like "Shotgun Serenade" & "She's A Digger." Over-the-top power ballad: "Tell Me Why." I remember a track was also included on the MUNICH CITY NIGHTS compilation series as the band was a classic in Germany.

I agree with Delbert this is a solid melodic rock cd with a very good singer,he reminds me of Nick Walsh from Slik Toxik. So many great bands came and went in the early 90's and weren't really heard of even then.Like Heavy Bones, Wildside,Slik Toxik,Dirty Rhythm,Red Sea, Gypsy Rose to name a few. Thanks to sites like this and Sleezerocks I continue to discover and enjoy these great bands from the genre I totally love.

I'm right in the middle on this one. It does seem average at times but there are some nice tracks worth hearing. It's usuall cheap enough that you won't get hurt if you don't like it. I've had mine for several years and still play it now and then.
