| Wow. Has anyone seen the ebay listing for a rare original copy of this CD? Check out Ebay item #140197940105... the price is going through the roof! Someone brought that listing and this website to my attention recently so I thought I'd come join the party and see what happens! I'm the singer and producer for The Stuff!

| Hey big fan of Rock,wow never heard of this band.This CD came out in 1993,the year grunge took over.It's a Indy release,so i guess not many CD were published. The question to Z4roxx,who ever bought this CD must be a imbecile,if you got money to burn and want to check it out,why not. $1300 might be like $15 to them and they might discover a great band. The band members look familiar,the first guy on the left especially.

| I seen the cd a few dayz ago hit $1125.00...then a few hours later 4 more off them popped up on ebay...i picked up my copy for $250.00...big difference from $1125.00..... there is still 3 more still on ebay right now....

| 4 more copies out now...and this is a megarare cd?I think it has been pressed now on cd ansd soll for a 1993 cd press,I am quite sure it's so...250$ is a crazy price but I can understand if you are a collector but..I think these kind of articles aren't so rare because they are re-issues.

| I think 'The Stuff' and people who have a CD are just jumping on the hot sale band wagon here since 1 CD went for over $1,000-that's all. The samples I heard which are actually the full songs and there's 5 of them are just average to maybe just a little above average at best hard rock/hair metal with low budget production. I guess the rarity and for one to have the next 'good' unknown indie is enough for someone to pay $1,000+ for a CD or now recently $100-$250. The samples are enough for me.

| I disagree, ..there are tons of unknown indie bands out there that you can't find anywhere (because few own them), that do not get that kind of money. Obviously, someone liked the samples. Not everyone hears the same thing. There have been other bands on Ebay before which no one knew about, extremely rare, and well promoted, but they didn't get that type of money. Could've been the people with the big money didn't find it as interesting as the majority?

| Another seller said almost exactly what you did about the sample, and he didin't feel they were that great. I imagine you both have sold something that you felt was better, but it didn't do as well. Welcome to the club. I've had that happen myself. Years later it showed up and went for hundreds of dollars or more.

| Well, I was commenting on what z4roxx said that more CD's are currently being made right now and passed off as original 1993 ones. I just think people are coming out of the wood work to sell them since it's getting high $$ and that's why we're seeing more out there now. Also, I was just saying that I didn't think the songs I heard were that great to pay so much $$ for the CD - but, to each his own and I was saying for the rarity and the fact that it is a pretty good CD is why it goes for big $$

| But,I think you may be right Tim regarding the people with the big $ bidding. Some CD's high dollar collectors will go after and thats when they get up there in price - they think it may be their only shot at owning it too, which unfortunately wasn't the case here. I mean it is pretty good and it is very rare so I can see why it goes for more but $1,000 to me is nuts; it went down considerably now. I saw one go for a little over $100 and some for $250. I guess if one really likes a CD and....

| Well metalhead4life is possible people want to sell ther copy after the first 2 auctions but I think another thing:how many times in the last 5 years did you see this cd for example?I don't know sincerely and if it's a megarare don't know how many people can have that and can knows that on Ebay it ends over 1,000$(ahaha)or some other imbecil price.This indie hard rock panorama is ridicolus,these things never happened for metal scene,and I repeat:most of these releases are awful and forgettable.

| This is my very personal opinion but this kind of music is dying.I don't hear any new in the genre and all that came from the past must be an indie to create a money explosion and the really great old bands miss...sincerely I don't know how to think anymore...I would really listen to some THE STUFF samples to calculate in music the worth of this cd even if a cd for me doesn't worths over 50$.If someone knows how to hear these guys please give me the link thanks.Sorry for my very poor english...

I'm listening again and I think this one is an average album not the big thing but pay 1300$ is ridiculous and specially if not is a Super Album as 'Dokken - Back For The Attack' for example even so not is a great idea for my pocket is my point of view and i agree with Andrea, in my case my experience with Indie Releases usually not is good  I'm in Love is the best song.

| CD's are no different than collecting stamps, baseball cards or GI Joe toys. People will pay what they think it's worth to have in their collection. Don't like it? Don't bother to comment or criticize them for their own purchase with their own money. Like Dan stated earlier, go to the website and add your interest in getting the CD reissued. Then you can get your own copy for $12-15.

Mixed comments above about this album...ok,pretty "wild stuff" but a simple one IMHO...not bad but neither good...just somehow enjoyable...the ones i liked the most were "The Stuff","Someone New"(a nice ballad that turns "heavy" at the end of it),"I Will Always Be There","Learn By Living"(AORish)& "It's My Life"...80/100....Bryan Lamb sounds a bit like John Sloman(Lone Star/former Uriah Heep singer)at times...
