Well, Black Ice was a respectable enough record for AC/DC to make in their grizzled old age. But Airbourne bring a fire and energy we no longer really expect from Angus and Co. Where Broken Teeth are all about the Bon Scott years, Airbourne remind me more of those overlooked, cranked-to-111, "let's try to be metal" records from the mid-'80's like Flick Of The Switch and Fly On The Wall. The rhythm section seriously knows how to groove, while the guitars churn out a seemingly endless string of delirious power chords, and Joel O'Keefe has a major howl going on that barely lets up for the oddly melodic "Bottom Of The Well." And hey, shit, how many limited-editions offer up FIVE bonus tracks, all of which are as good as anything on the record proper? In Back In Black terms, it's a double album. I liked Runnin' Wild well enough, but man, I'm really digging No Guts, No Glory. |

Now we know what to expect soundwise, the band have lost some of their initial impact they had with 'Runnin' Wild' and there are absolutely no surprises on here whatsoever. That being said, there are some good tracks on show and it does rock hard in places, although at a whopping 18 tracks on the Special Edition version, it is way way too long. So an album that does exactly what is says on the tin, although everytime that I hear them, I always go back to my AC/DC and Rose Tattoo cd's which, it has to be said, are for the most part, are much better. |

I know there is alot of people going to say oh what an AC/DC Rip off. Although I don't care, This cd just kicks you right in the teeth. Too Bad alot of other bands could not put out this high energy which this band does Can't wait to see them live. Now that said lets watch all you lady's cry about how bad this cd's is. |

"No Way But the Hard Way" is the obvious favorite tune. Not as good as their first album IMO but its never a bad thing hearing a band crankin' out good 'ol in your face rock and roll. |

Disappointing album. Absolutely no variation. Not much of melodies; it's all about speed. No groove like you find in the best of AC/DC. With 18 tracks on the one with the bonus tracks this is simply a case of "eating too much of the same food"-experience |

very good album for AIRBOURNE with much energy and that classic ACDC sound along with lyrics about women, rock n roll and booze ,i guess you just cant dislike this band!not a filler even though the album is extended but as well no real big song either!the musicianship is excellent and i m really lookin forward catching those guys live this summer |
