Rise Above is among their best ever tracks. Anthem for America is also very cool. The rest of the album... I mean, it's Crazy Lixx! What else do you need to know? Grade B+. |

after the two masterpieces "ruff justice" and "forever wild" this record is a ..........big deception.the best tracks are tracks 2.3.8.10 and 11.five great songs on twelve songs ,it s very light ,for a band wich have a very big potential.track 1 and 6 are two instrumental.these "songs" have absoluty no interest.the music of these songs have nothing in common with the crazy lixx s style so they broke the cd.the other songs are some fillers, they are very very average.it s a slapdash work without any inspiration.track 12 ,the japan bonus track is a piano version of track 3 "anthem for america".absoluty not essential.this album is only for the die hard fans of crazy lixx. |

Solid release from Danny & Co. with superb intro and some instrumental track inside. "Forever Wild" is stil better in my opinion. |

My introduction to the band was the self titled album that I picked up the year before this album came out. I loved it so much that by the time this album was released I had their entire back catalogue. I have to say that while they have not released a bad album, none of the other albums came close to self titled for me, until this one. Easily my second favourite CL album. The two singles, Rise above and Anthem for America are up there with their best songs, and the rest of the album is pretty damn impressive too. There are a lot of 80s inspired bands out there, but for me these guys do it best. I just cant believe I was so late to the party. |
