Great AOR(Power Pop¿?)/MR album indeed. I recently bought this one and of course it was a very great surprise to me. Tracks 2,3,8,10 are just ok songs but the rest is fantastic. According to the label Renegade, this band sounds like The Outfield and The Raspberries, well, for me Vertigo reminds me to Dominoe/Stage Dolls/The Outfield. "If I Give You My Heart" "Hold On" and "Nobody's Girl" are mine. Highly Recommended. 9.2/10 |

I agree Juan Carlos! ... This is a great Melodic Rock/AOR album!. Certainly, the production is not good, but the songs are excellent!. Your references are correct, but i can listen things of bands like Outside Edge and Worrall. Good keyboards, Vibrant Guitars, Good Raspy vocals and over all, Very catchy and effective songs like "Go All The Way", mid tempo "If I Give You My Heart" and "Me Into You". RECOMMENDED |

Sometimes I think many obscure release must be not disentomebed to make a mediocre and poor cd,this is one of these examples IMO.They remind me to Monro or a little to first Harem Scarem 80's works.Sincerely don't understand the cover song as second track and after the first 4/5 songs(with 2 decent ones)the rest is forgettable.5/10 |

Yeah for me this release was a surprise too...basically because of the catchy songs ..."Go All The Way"(the band made this cover song sounded like if it was a Cheap Trick one instead of being a proper song of The Raspberries),"Takes Me Back"(nice AOR) & "Someone Like You" are pleasant to the ears but if i have to select "best ones" i'd go for these three "Freedom","If I Give You My Heart" & "Girls Alright"...lovers of Canadian Melodic Rock/Pop/AOR bands such as Boulevard,Haywire,Glass Tiger & Honeymoon Suite are gonna enjoy this new act from Canada...remember the name...VERTIGO!!!...88/100 |
