No sense commenting on the old stuff, because we already know how freakin' perfect all that is - so what of the new songs? Well, 'I burn for you' is as good a return as you could ever hope for from a band. Almost Wig Wam-ish, but still 100% Treat. Vocally, musically... the hooks - just perfect. 'Go' follows in similar fashion: flawless commercial hard rock and the biggest question has to be, how the hell was 'Still in heaven' not released before? Stunning track! All 3 are perfect. Essential CD.

What a comeback!! A bunch of their greatest hits, 2 new songs that show how Treat can deliver ultracatchy melodies with strong guitar riffs still in 2006 and a leftover from Organized Crime titled 'Still in Heaven' who will leave you breathless...one of the best Scandi Aor songs ever heard with heavenly keys, a mistery they decided to not include this treasure on the 1989 album. This new cd is another proof of Treat's royal talent to create sing a long refrains who don't leave easily your mind.

From: Liger Date: May 22, 2006 at 4:21
I'm sure they have several unreleased songs at the same level of Still in Heaven, let's hope Universal will realease a cd with some of these lost treasures!!

From: TIM (2) Date: May 22, 2006 at 6:23
A couple of questions on this one. Firstly, where the hell is 'Best of Me'? The greatest AOR ballad in history. Secondly, why did 'Still In Heaven' not make it onto 'Organised Crime'? The new tracks are stunning, 'I Burn For You' is just magnificent with a killer chorus & is the type of sound that FATE should have achieved on their latest album. A few personal faves ommitted ('One Way to Glory', 'Poor Man', 'Take Me on Your Wings', 'Hunger) but another reminder of what a great band TREAT are.

From: Liger Date: May 22, 2006 at 7:38
Hey Tim, i had your same questions about this album...i think when a band has a discography so strong like Treat have, is hard to choose which songs include in a 'Greatest hits' and which not...about 'Best of Me' i agree that is a monster ballad but i think Treat doesn't love ballads very much, in fact during their live tours following each album, excepting the classic 'We are one', they didn't play often their slow tracks like 86's 'Take my hand', 87's 'Best of me' and 89's 'Stay away'...

From: Liger Date: May 22, 2006 at 7:45
...Like said before Treat guys have a unique talent (in my opinion a lot more than Europe) to create superb Aor songs with ultracatchy melodies and sing a long refrains, so they had probably recorded a lot of wonderful rockers like 'Still in Heaven' that were never included on any album, i know for sure they made a fantastic song in 1987 titled 'Rebel Heart' who wasn't included on Dreamhunter...

From: SCANDI Date: May 22, 2006 at 17:21
Most of the songs from ORGANIZED CRIME.. well well. At least my favourites 'Mr Heartache'& 'Get you on the run' are there.Just one song from 's/t' (for my taste 'New religion', maybe 'Wholla lotta shakin' are missin). The SCRATCH N BITE album I don't know (is 'Get you..' the same as on ORGANIZED..?).From PLEASURE PRINCIPLE I do miss 'Waiting game'& 'Take my hand'.AND of course what did they do to 'Best of me' I'd liked to have 'Better off without your love' from MUSCLE IN MOTION too.

From: SCANDI Date: May 22, 2006 at 17:31
..After all, I'll buy this for (in the end probably) 'Still in heaven' only. Must be anything on it, if all you guys say so. As you know now, I had chosen a different track listing (I think about the half songs could have been out: Particularly 'Ready for the talking' & 'Party all over' as well as some from PLEASURE PRINCIPLE). To summ up I always liked EUROPE (3rd, 4th & 5th albums) more than TREAT (my answer to Liger), but still TREAT are superb though

From: Mustaine_TW Date: October 8, 2007 at 8:31
good album for those who never have a chance to listen to them , but there are still some great tunes that aren't in this compilation like 'Love Stroke', 'The Winner', 'Best Of Me', 'One Way To Glory', and I must say that unreleased song 'Still In Heaven' is awesome! I think that song was written during Dreamhunter era

From: Mustaine_TW Date: October 8, 2007 at 8:33
btw. there is only 1 song sung by Mats Leven...that's good for me, because I've never like the self-titled album in 1992...

From: newscandi Date: April 19, 2008 at 15:11
....I think I have to make up my own "Best of" from them. And "Still in heaven" quite probably isn't on it, sorry guys.

From: z4roxx Date: September 16, 2009 at 13:45
Obiously I was interested for the 3 inhedit songs:"I Burn for You" is good but forgettable near the Treat great albums;"Go!"has the only great thing in title, the song isn't good. The only very good song was "Still in Heaven" in an evident "Dreamhunter"'s style. They can include it in that disc maybe....

From: titothetitan Date: February 16, 2018 at 5:25
They played an outstanding live version of 'I Burn for You' in the Live at Firefest III Dvd show. The song was also used as the menue theme and end credits of the dvd.

From: titothetitan Date: February 16, 2018 at 13:17
by the way "Still in Heaven" is the best song they've ever recorded.

From: CC Date: January 2, 2020 at 18:38
Go! is easily my favourite song by these guys, so it was worth buying this album to discover that gem.

From: Oz Date: May 21, 2024 at 9:50
I seem to agree with many above, this collection has two awesome new songs, way to do it! And the previously unreleased "Still in Heaven" is a KILLER track with awesome riff! A very very good best of + splendid extra songs! Never thought of the lyrics, but some are thoughtful: "Conspiracy: Like a strike of lightning We come crashing through your door Just when you needed the cure It's a new beginning From the White House to the Kremlin Together forevermore We're coming after you There's nothing you can do It's just a taste of war" Hmm... Back to the band, Treat is a pleasure to listen to!
