Pardon the obvious pun, but pretty much any release from this band is a treat for melodic rock aficionados. That being said, this is easily the "worst" of the modern day Treat albums. Some of the downward trajectory can be blamed on the non-resonating lyrical content -- when your best song is about a pepper, you might be doing something wrong -- but strange subject matter aside, the songs themselves just aren't on par with previous albums. It's still a slick, solid melodic rock release, but this time around, the band definitely did not bring their A-game.

Totally disagree with above comments!! This is waaaayyyy better the last album and slots in nicely between the first two of the newer treat! Great disc!!

For me this is a pretty decent release keeping the melodic side clear and obviously with the modern characteristic sound of the band nowadays...tracks # 1,3,6(nice),10,11 & 12 are the ones in my book of music...80/100

Ich bin Treat Liebhaber seit 1986 aber dieses Album werde ich mir nicht kaufen...sehr sehr langweilig und popig,da hatte Dreamhunter mehr Metal!Von einer Skala 1-10 eine 4

This album is an absolute smoker!! Treat are the gift that just keeps on giving.

This is a better album than Tunguska due to better songs and less predictable. It sits very well with CdG and GoG. Very enjoyable. 87 / 100

For me it's their 2nd best modern album (only behind CdG). Twelve pleasant melodic songs, not a single filler. Production is also better than Tunguska and GoG.

This is the best modern Treat album. I like their latest Tunguska, Ghost of Graceland and Coup De Grace but this is even better. There is not a single bad moment on the entire album. No need to highlight any song because they are all excellent. So my favorite Treat albums are now Dreamhunter, Organized Crime and The Endgame.

Freudian Slip is a cool song, with real and dark lyrics. Times are not funny, at all, but we gotta fight, move on. Treat, a little bit like Mustaine, seems to get tired of the more traditional sex, drugs, r n' r lyrics and hence rather reflects the state world's in. Gives weight to the album, which is a grower, and certainly a solid album from solid band.
