Musically excellent, but the idiots who did the packaging should be shot: no mention of the band personnel, and all they did was copy the artwork *EXACTLY* from the Scandinavian release of Dreamhunter. Morons...

How the HELL do these guys NOT get played on the radio??? U figure for 2001 they would pull the same crap as 750f the hard rocking bands and produce some CRAP we should learn to like.ala we have matured/we are taking our music to the next level/exploring different sounds, etc..the normal Bullshit we hear from so many bands!..NOT these guys...still have a GREAT GREAT sound...definitely worth picking up...Quote the WidoMakr....never more...

Cool Band! To answer Widomakr above on why they don't play good band like this on the radio? Is because of corp BS politics. They like to shove Madonna,Eminem & other useless & talentless artists down our throat saying 'This is good'....while bands that rock like: Giant,Jaded Heart,Adriangale,Fair Warning,Treat,Journey,Frontline, Def Lep,and tons more only get online radio airtime.Which is fine for me.God BLESS the folks who put up this site & others like it to expose us to a world of such AMAZI

Anybody know anything about TREAT (selftitled) album from year 1992?

The S/T from 1992 is now quite hard to find, but is worth it for the few real killer songs. Ernlund's smooth vocals had been replaced with Leven's raspier approach which suited this rockier approach. The result changed the entire sound of the band, and although the earlier albums were their highlights this one is very high quality.

'Muscle In Motion' is just demos that were due to appear on the follow-up album which never happened. Leven's vocals were still great, but the songs aren't quite there. Good, but nothing special here.

This one was the natural progression from 'Organized crime'. Still very melodic, plus Mr Leven's amazing voice! The first song is my fave - I love it! 'Waiting to get even' is class all the way and an amazing song, 'Better off without your love' is killer and home to a monster riff. 'Every muscle in motion' is an anthem of titanic proportions. Killer songs, and the rest are great too. Demos, yes. But this was intended to be the release after 'Organised crime' so there is little lack in quality

This is a masterpiece, extremely melodic , and in my country, extremely RARE! And Treat kicks some asses, various bands would sound like they were... 9.5/10

I could never get into this band, regardless of which album it was. One of those, 'I should like it because most other people do' type of bands, but it does nothing for me. Contagious made a version of 'Every Muscle In Motion' and blew the original out of the water.

When I recently bought this album I hoped every track was in class of 'Better off without you love'.. it didn't turn out exactly that way even if ther's a lot of songs which are quite equal. 'Waiting to get even' is a nice little ballad reminding me of 'Best of me' from DREAMHUNTER. 'Feels like I'm alive' is in third place. Sure, 'Rev it up' from PLEASURE PRINCIPLE is a party stunner. 7/10 --I guess one side prefers DREAMHUNTER (me too), other side ORGANIZED CRIME. This is for completists.

Wow!....Treat is amazing!.. Well, Muscle in Motion ia good album, standouts includes 'Streets Cry Freedom', 'Won't See Me Crying', but Ernlund's voice is better than Leven's.....I think there is some great ideas on this one...

Great album for me, not as great as Dreamhunter but great indeed, the songs are very melodic with killer guitars and the voice from Mats Leven fits for this album, demos? if this is so, it doesnīt matter because the songs speaks from itselves...the only thing I donīt like is the cover(the same as Dreamhunter),why donīt change it?, well... at last the music only matters...
