| This is a very good street rock release, a la early Skid row.100% 80's metal. My favorite tracks are To the fire and Let it go. Check them out.

| Doug Arms supplies some awesome guitars here. The songs are incredibly strong for an indie hard rock release. Big time highlights include the opener. I've always said these guys do Matchbox 20 better than Matchbox 20 on 'Let It Go' and 'Nothing Special'. Great, great hard rock record.

| One kickass of a rock record. From the opening chords of Tales from the boogieman you know you are in for one hell of a ride. I bought this after seeing it advertised in Metal Edge and I was not dissappointed. Song great rockers and ballads and amazing guitar work listen to the solo in to the fire and you'll know what I mean. Rock never died it was just forced underground. Jester Rock. Jay from Australia.

| I can't stress more that if you love late 80's hard rock, ala Skid Row, this CD is a MUST buy, even if just for the title track. It is simply one of the greatest HR songs ever recorded. Catchy as all hell, right up there with "Youth Gone Wild".

| The tune Tales from the Boogieman is worth admission alone. Great track. If this were released in 87-88 we would be talking about them just like Warrant and Skid Row. Album #2 is not as good. Try out the first album and see how it fits your tastes. Highly recommended.

| Tales from the boogieman and to the fire are the finest ways that a cd should begin and end.To the fire has a killer riff and the pace builds up to a frantic pace in the middle with a fantastic lead guitar solo which will create goosebumps.The title song is another killer hook laden track.There is a great variety of music on this album.You don't hear the same thing over and over again.This cd is like a rock supermarket.Groove,acoustic & electric songs with plenty to interest any rock fan.

| As noted above, 'Tales from the boogeyman' is a simply stunning track and very possibly the best album opener I've heard. F*cking monster track! 'Ain't what it used to be' is killer melodic hard rock, 'All out of tears' is as good as ballads get, oozing with sincerity, and 'Can't stop the world' is a killer melodic hard rocker. Overall, good solid hard rock with a few fillers but just oustanding gems in-between. Highly recommended.

| I will look for this album. But by judging of the looks of the cover I would pass it every day. But by the recomendations read here, I will look for sure, but HELL thats a, ugly cover.

| Hey Muddley! You are right, this one does have one UGLY cover. What lies beneath the cover is some killer hard rock! You have it all with this one, melodic music, better than average vocals and some wonderful songwriting. Key tracks: Title cut, Nothing Special, Let It Go and All out of Tears. All tracks very enjoyable. Pick this one up not for the cover but for the music. You won't be disappointed! Cheers!

| To be demo material(I think so because I hear different productions)this is excellent,solid hard rock with some hair metal and glam moment(also close to aor sometimes),singer is decent and choruses a little weak but I repeat:very good cd!Now I am listening to their second cd,it's a little modern than the previous but very interesting,too!8,5/10!

| No joke, this is some great hard rock, moving effortlessly between a ballsy, attitude-driven sound and more melodic numbers. You'll be able to tell a tale after listening to this album, and that tale will be, "I just heard some awesome hard rock, dude!" The guitars crank, the vocalist has some bite, and the choruses stick with you like a piece of beef jerky stuck between your teeth. The cover art might make you think you should avoid this like the boogieman, but then you'd be missing out on a really great CD.

| On first listen I thought this was just another stereotypical American hair metal band with not a lot going on bar the odd song. However I gave it another couple of listens through the headphones & realised there were some good tunes on here. Opening track "Tales from the boogieman" is an absolute blinder & while it is by far the best song "Ain't what it used to be", "All out of tears" & "As you were" are well worth a mention. Only negatives are the last two tracks which are tuneless dross.
