Awesome slab of melodic hard rock. The opener, 'Without you' sets the scene. Huge production, huge sound and a huge song. This is hard rock with all guns blazing. Though not quite in the same league, this does remind me of Paul Laine's debut, or Kane Roberts 'Saints and sinners'. There are a couple of fillers towards the end and the intensity does fade a bit later on, but this album does contain the best song of 2007 - 'Don't let it slip away'. |

So this is better like Pink Cream 69 albums for me.One off the Best for year 2007. |

The voice of Pink Cream 69 delivers a truly awesome solo effort, one of the best in the history of melodic hard rock. Huge hooks, pristine production, melodies galore, memorable choruses that stick with you better than the STD you picked up in Thailand...this one's got it all, and plenty of it. A bit more "straight-forward" than the heavier, more cranking PC69, and it works amazingly well, every element coming together with near perfection. Put this one right up there with the best of 2007. |

GOOD CD 82/100 but nothing more spectacular than the last PINK CREAM 69 just as good !But not as great as "electrified"! IMO the heavier feeling comes with the excellent work from the underated ALEX BEYRODT (SINNER/PRIMAL FEAR/the mighty THE SYGNET/SILENT FORCE) AS ALWAYS great performance by the ex ADAGIO/MISHA CALVIN guy ,THE PRODUCTION BY D.WARD IS GREAT and TOMMY DENANDER is doing his stuff AMAZINGLY ! good european AOR for the PC 69 fans it will be HEAVEN ! |

pure polished melodic rock at its finest.the pink cream 69 singer shows he has a more melodic edge on this solo album and 'love in vain' is an absolute killer ballad up there with the classics imho. |

Don’t expect nothing unusual; the songs are swinging from European AOR to classical Pink Cream 69. “Without You” with its standout riffs, “Evil Combination” (what a song!) redolent of Dokken, “Don’t Let It Slip Away”, a great AOR tune, as well as “Wild In The City” with its hard rocking Whitesnake mood, just as “Prisoner Of Shame” with the intense guitar solo and the amazing vocal performance, plus the best by far ballad here, “Love In Vain”. Well, there’s something the matter with the absence o |

of really efficient ballads or mid tempo songs. I mean they do exist, but unfortunately they are quite average. Another negative point is the obvious carbon copy of Whitesnake’s “Is This Love” in the overture of “Take These Tears”. Unneeded trick for such a classy singer, I’m afraid. |

Wow, what a great album! |

Sorry, but this is just totally average. Nothing more, nothing less. |

Great album!...powerful yet melodic,a great combination of Melodic Rock and some AOR touches..David's undoubtebly a good singer and the rest of the musicians do their job fine as hell!.."Without You" is a good AOR tune and was the hit of the album and the rest of the songs are pieces of hard driven melodic mayhen...if you are into bands such as Brother Firetribe,Firenote or even Eclipse then buy it eyes closed.90/100 |
